Pros:

- My biggest pro for Tushka Run is hole #3. Beautiful hole that throws over a creek with large boulders and a waterfall. The water was quite high last time I played which made it extra stunning. I think this can also be dry though at times unfortunately. If you are playing one of the other 2 courses in the park, it might be worth at least checking this hole out.
- There are a few good/important next tee signs... until there isn't (see cons).
- The lake could be utilized more often on this course, but there are a couple good water holes.
- There are a decent amount of benches, although their days might be numbered on some of them.
- Rare to have large rocks on course in this part of the country, but this course utilizes them nicely for beauty and challenge.

Cons:

- Single chain baskets that are old and sad. One basket was all but demolished by a fallen tree and appears it has been that way for a while.
- Signage existed sometimes with a simple number and distance on very worn out 4x4s. On many holes, the sign was just laying on the ground or looked like it had been tossed from the tee box.
- I've dealt with worse ease of navigation, but this course was still a challenge. Tip: 8 tee is on the other side of the building from 7's dilapidated basket. This was the biggest search that could have been solved with a sign.
- Mostly old carpet tees that are in very rough shape.
- It seems they have stopped grooming this course. Multiple holes had large trees down that looked like they had been down for quite some time due to the appearance of the roots. This ruined the shot lines of a few holes.

Other Thoughts:

- Most of the course zig zags up and down this hill side. It can be challenging with the elevation, but also very repetitive. I wouldn't think that it would be enjoyed very much by a beginner for that reason. Chickasaw is probably the better beginner course in the park and Warrior Ridge is definitely the best for more advanced players.
- I remember this course being so much better 6 or so years ago. Very disappointing that it has fallen to this level. I still give it 2 stars for its potential with a lot of revitalizing. Tish is still a cool place to go, camp, and play 3 18 hole courses, but I would say this is the least exciting of the bunch at this point.
