It's still just baskets in a field... 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 17, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

- It's disc golf. On an island in Lake Huron.- Discatchers with 2 sets of chains

Cons:

9 holes spread around an open area with baseball and soccer fields, all of which come into play even for an experienced golfer. A playground and swingset are also in play. Luckily, I was the only person in the park. Tee markers were only present for holes 4, 5, and 6. Luckily, the pictures were enough to get me close to where I needed to be.

Other Thoughts:

Play it to check it off the list if you're into that kind of thing (I am ;)), but there are much better things to do on the island.

Pros:

- Nice to have a course on the island!
- Newer, Innova DISCatchers
- Tees are marked.
- It's a nice addition to a multi-use park. Baseball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, playgrounds and restrooms all on site.

Cons:

- Course is very short.
- Only a RHBH hyzer is required here.
- Tee surfaces are mostly grass and gravel, and not level. (However, large run-ups aren't required on this course)
- Certainly some safety concerns if anyone else is in the park. I surmise that baseball and soccer games are about the only time much of anyone is in the park.

Other Thoughts:

- I mean, if you're on the island for more than a day, why not play a round? Just pack a versatile midrange disc in your luggage, and you're set!
- Tee #1 is up behind the shelter house, just off Maple Rd. Park access from Cupids Pathway
