Pros:
-Cute little park on the top of Mackinac, course just wraps around the edge of the field starting on top of the hill by the pavilion.
-Bathrooms and water available
-Picnic tables for family members to hang out during play
-Very short course that doesn't take much time
-Baskets are portable Discatchers
-Park is well kept and maintained
Cons:
-Baskets are mobile so any maps will be at least slightly inaccurate
-There are no official markers for tees. there were a few broken pieces of brick that seemed to have numbers on them but nothin to be seen from a distance
Other Thoughts:
All you need is a mid-range and putter. More than anything, it's just fun to say you've played a round on Mackinac. It's really worth using udisc so that you can see the basic GPS location of where the tees are "supposed" to be so you can play the course true to it's design. If this was a course anywhere else I would be really disappointed in the design, but it was fun to stop by and play a really fast 9 holes with putters. I'd definitely play it again if I visited Mackinac, plus it'll probably be a quite different course since all the baskets are mobile
