Better than it has any right to be

Reviewed: Played on:May 20, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

I must say up front that I was pleasantly surprised by this course. Tucked away in Miller Park in BFE, Indiana I wasn't expecting a lot from this 9 holer but it more than delivered.

Boasting 9 brand new Dynamic Veteran Baskets Twin Creeks offers some mighty fine park golf. To be honest there's only one small brook that runs through the course but it does come in to play on multiple holes and forces you to consider your shots. There's also plenty of mature trees that require some thoughtful line shaping.

The tee pads and signage is perfectly adequate and there's next tee arrows on each basket. The layout is pretty well put together, and you should have no trouble finding your way around without a map or Udisc.

There is a nice little playground plus a basketball court and volleyball nets. Neat old red basket for putting warmup too if you need one. It's honestly kind of amazing there's a neat little park here out in the boonies.

Cons:

While the course does require some line shaping, 8 of the 9 holes simply require some sort of Right-to-Left shot. The low ceilings and tee placements make things a little tricky but if you can throw a RHBH hyzer well enough you should be able to score pretty easily here.

There's a tall fence with barbed wire at the top along the left side of at least half the holes. If your disc goes over the fence, you may as well kiss it goodbye.

The bathrooms on site were locked. I was there at 10 am on a Saturday so I'm not sure when they'd be open

Other Thoughts:

Twin Creeks managed to blow away my admittedly pretty low expectations. It's got 9 good baskets, 9 tee pads, flows pretty well, and offers just enough challenge to where you don't feel like you're doing glorified field practice.

I can't imagine why on God's Green Earth you would find yourself in St. Bernice Indiana, but if you do make sure you swing by for a quick 9
