Nice course with tech 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 8, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

I like this course, it's great for beginners that would like to work on there shots. Good tech when you have to shot though or around trees. Well maintained course.

Cons:

There is people sitting and walking through the course. You will have to watch your shots. I wish it was an 18 hole course.

Other Thoughts:

When I went it wasn't to busy, I had the course to myself. Your will have to pay for parking or UTA in. In which would be good, because the light rail drops off just right above the course. Print out a map it will help to get around the course.
I give this course a 2.75 I will play this course again.
Lots of pars and great chances of birdies.

Good Practice Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 18, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Easy to find and navigate from one hole to another.
-Good course to practice on because it has basic difficulties with trees as obstacles.
-Has cement tee pads for all holes and holes are all marked.

Cons:

-Right by a commuter train stop, so every 7-10 minutes people flood the park from the train so you have to stop throwing while they clear out.
-No long holes, all par three short holes.

Other Thoughts:

Like the title says, a good place to go and to just practice with the short game. Not hugely difficult but holes are well placed to make trees good obstacles.

Start Playing Here 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 1, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great tee signs on this course and good tee pads all the way around (I did like the front 9 tee pads better than the back). Some good challenge without being crazy. Right on the campus of the University. Good use of the land where the course is located. Great for those who are just starting to learn the game. Good variety to make you throw different kinds of shots.

Cons:

Nothing super difficult with only a couple of really long holes. It is very easy to score low on this course. There was a good size crowd of players there and seems to be one of those courses wehre people go in the evening to get in a quick round, but it got a little crowded.

Other Thoughts:

There is really nothing spectacular about this course but it is good and really good for those who are new to disc golf. I actually played with a buddy of mine who had played just a couple times before and I had a great time teaching him while still allowing him to enjoy his round. I have not seen a better course as far as learning the game is concerned.
