Good to work on your game here. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 12, 2013 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Nice mix of wooded and open holes. The disc golf course is in a park but separate from the rest of the park which is not always the case with other courses which are in parks.

Cons:

Tee boxes are in terrible shape. No yardage markers at the tees. The yardages listed here on the site are different than another set given in the files section. Some are almost the same but some are way off. The site says hole 4 is 430 feet but another one posted in the files section has hole 4 as 575 feet. That is a really big difference. Would be nice to know what the actual yardage is. The second hole is easy to miss your first time there.

Other Thoughts:

Not a bad 9 hole course that is good for new players or players wanting to work on their game. Nice that the course is away from the rest of the park so you don't have to worry about hitting someone or something. Nice that there are holes with woods but also a few that are very open so you can use your longer distance discs.

Upper Mac 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Nov 23, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Nine holes with baskets in very good shape. Good mix of lefty and righty holes with a few wooden holes. Tees are mostly natural, but some still have rubber. One ace run and a few open holes will help those who can bomb drives. The fourth hole is the best here. It is a wooden tee area with a narrow 15' wide fairway to a much more open area and a hillside green that is very steep and very unapologetic should you miss the putt. A few trees planted on the hill may come into play at some point, but as of this review they don't affect anything just yet. Close to the highway and there is a playground and baseball field at the bottom of the hill. Fair usage of the land.

Cons:

Although there isn't much growth this time of year, holes 2 and especially 3 if you miss the fairway will probably give you nothing but a chipout back to the fairway. No room for error on 7, keep right. If you can't bomb it, be prepared to not score well. There are still tees with rubber on them, and most of those are in poor shape. This course starts near the upper lot, and there is a gate that provides access to this. If this is closed, you will have a 5-8 minute walk up the hill to access the first tee.

Other Thoughts:

Not exactly the premier destination course in the Valley, but it is not your average nine hole pitch n putt. If you're driving on I-78 and approach this area, and you have thirty or so minutes to spare, come over and give this course a play. There's enough here to satisfy.

Good practice course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 30, 2006 Played the course:never

Pros:

Wide open 9 hole course except for hole 2 and 3 which is semi wooded. The course has some distance to it and is great for practicing your drives.

Lots of grassy hill elevations.

Cons:

A lot of walking up and down hill elevations
