Pros:

Very well kept course. Nice long open holes. The pars are reasonable for the course difficulty. Never very busy and you won't get stuck behind others playing. Easy to get from hole to hole with no confusion.

Cons:

Can be hard to find discs in the tall grass on the side of some holes.

Other Thoughts:

It's a fun course that I usually play when in the area.

Best Maintained Course in the Area 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 24, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

One of the only 18 hole courses around and probably the best maintained course in the area. It has a dedicated parking lot and is right on the campus of UWBC, WITC which means water and vending machines are close by.

The course it self is the longest one I've played, has a variety of par 3's and 4's and a few shorter 5's. The front 9 ends right back at the parking lot and plays relatively quickly. Over all it feels quite fair and as you begin throwing farther it becomes a very fun course for a beginner.

For the most part there is good signage and plenty of trash bins around.

UPDATE 6/11/2017: There have been a few positive changes in the past few years that have opened my eyes to this course. First, they added cement tee pads. They're small but most of them are low enough that a step up run up is quite easy.

The WIND is a big factor that makes the course more interesting that I had first understood. Both the front and back 9 play in a loop and a constant wind come from the west means you'll be challenging it from all directions on different holes. Stable plastic is a must but understable discs will see just as much love.

They've also added a new hole 18 after 12 was removed due to construction. It gets you back just a little closer to the start of the course which is good, and in it self is a very interesting holes. Lot's of different lines to take, none of them direct.

Cons:

The front 9 is flat and WIDE open and almost consistently windy. If you didn't pack any stable plastic, you're in for a rough round.

The back 9 has much more variety due to changing elevations on a few of the holes and makes it a lot more fun. However one of the holes on the back runs along the baseball fields, which are in use quite often while the season is active. Also a bear showed up once... so there's that.

The back 9 ends a quarter mile away from the front of the course so you have to take a long walk to get back to your vehicle.

Finding 16 from 15's pin is a bit difficult. Walk toward the closest brick building, keeping it's facing wall to your right and the pad will be just past the corner.

Other Thoughts:

It's a fun, but kind of forgiving course. The front nine in particularly is very strait forward, with only one or two holes that really require any thought to your drive. Most of the pars feel like they are gracious for the distances but it makes the course much easier for beginners. As a beginner myself it's fun to see my first rounds at 14 over drop down to even now after learning substantially more about the game. There is unfortunately just very little challenge to most of the holes other than "throw it far to get better than par". Technical players will find the course woefully lacking and distance throwers will be easily bored. Beginners will get the most out of this one.

If you play everything as a Par 3, the course really opens up in terms of challenge and enjoyment. Now most holes require a difficult, but not impossible park job to play under par and there are still getable holes for the 250 and under players.

Pros:

This course is a great course for a quick play. Holes 1-11 are all out in the open, where longer drivers can take advantage and make birdi pretty easily if you have a close 2nd shot. A few holes are tucked underneath trees which make the approach difficult. Overall a really fun course and a must play if you have an hour or two.

Cons:

The only cons is that maybe the par values should be changed. I am a longer driver, so making birdi on a lot of the holes seemed to be easier than it should. Also baseball and softball fields line holes 12-15 which makes playing them difficult if games are in progress.
