Pros:

A very quick play with not much traffic. A great beginner course. A nice sometimes wet creek. A mid range course. Great wind practice course.

Cons:

Short and short and did I say short. Some bad tees.

Other Thoughts:

There are some dual tees to make up for the lack of distance.

Good beginner course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 4, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great for beginners. This is a good course to hone your game as a new player or an amateur looking to move towards midrange usage. Provides for a nice variety of shots and is a good transitional course from beginner to amateur players.

Well manicured course in the north central Austin area. If you're looking for a quick round and you're in the area, this would work.

Cons:

Very dull for anyone intermediate on up...and maybe some amateurs.

There are some water hazards on a most holes so it may be a little tough for beginners, though amateur players will probably enjoy these.

Other Thoughts:

Better than the Lutheran Church course. I'd probably put it on par with Zilker though it does provide some hazards that Zilker doesn't have. But for some reason I enjoy the Zilker course a little more.

As stated before, it's all about ace runs and birdies for anyone who's played for a while.
