one fun hole 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 18, 2011 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Fun little course geared towards recreational players. Easy layout to follow.
Hole five is a fun downhill with a lake just behind the basket. All other holes are fairly easy and straight forward.

Cons:

The course uses the land well, but most holes are short and could be easily deuced. Relatively boring course. Hole five is the one exception.

Other Thoughts:

If I lived in town, I would play the course often and bring unexperienced players out. For a veteran golfer, this course will be a bit boring.

Pros:

Easy park to find, right off of main highway. Not a busy course. Easy warm up course on your way to Annandale/Clearwater. Has a very cool hole that has you shooting right onto the lakeshore. If the water were high, the basket would be surrounded by water. Easy course for Aces and Birdies

Cons:

A few holes have you shooting towards a playground. Easy to lose your disk on the water hole. (hole 4 or 5). No long holes to get a good drive on.

Pros:

Good putter practice
#5, in my mind after playing 55 courses in Minnesota is one of the top 3 holes in the state behind #4 at Blue Ribbon Pines and #15 at Hidden lake.

Cons:

Lots of high school punks sitting in the parking lot.

Other Thoughts:

Not worth the long drive if I was playing just this course but #5 makes this course a 2 instead of a 1.
