Pros:

Western Oregon DGC plays in the field next to the softball area. The course has a nice kiosk, and course map near hole 1. It has a practice basket with a black rim with a P on it to warm up. The tee pads are nice and in great shape with bark chips surrounding most. The tee signs are also very nice with a good description on them. The baskets are all numbered and layout is a breeze to follow. Good distance with most holes in the 300-400 range allowing you to air it out and test discs and the arm. Hole 8 pin is slightly elevated giving you at least a little difference?

Cons:

Pretty repetitive with not many obstacles. Flat with many holes having little to no trees giving same shot type feeling. If the course isn't mowed it can be a nightmare searching for disc and waiding through it. It gets pretty mushy in some spots during winter probably have some wet feet if it's not sunny out.

Other Thoughts:

Not a bad place to come try out some new drivers, and take down some Pars. Sure on a windy day it would be pretty brutal with no coverage all in all okay 9 holes and good practice spot

Pros:

- Variety of shots (240' - 550')
- Some holes are challenging
- The trees that come into play work well to define fairways and provide obstacles.
- Course no longer endangers students.

Cons:

- Some baskets are in bad condition (Discatcher Sports)
- No signage
- A lot of the holes are wide open.

Other Thoughts:

As is, it's a fun course to practice a variety of shots. The course has a lot of potential with some OB lines and strategically place trees (which the club is working on getting).
