Pros:
Tee Signs
Concrete Tees
New Dynamic Baskets
Very Beginner Friendly
Other Thoughts:
First tee is west of the playground. This is a fun course that won't require a lot of experience. Par 27, one or two discs will do in a pinch. Some decent hills and a few well placed trees provide a bit of opposition.
Everything is newly installed. Some tee pad footings are soft and the grass seed hasn't sprouted yet. Trash can near the first tee.
1, 4, and 5 play downhill, and hole 1 is fast behind the pin. Hole 2 has enough distance and contour to create a tough line, and a mature tree atop a small hill in front of the target. 5 is downhill, crossing the concrete culvert, to a pin well backstopped by the grassy turf. 6 has a pin on a slope that can be hard to hold onto. 7 has a tree taking away a super direct line, and the ditch is to the left snd behind. 9 is uphill and over the culvert.
I shot a 23 on the first round. Missed 2 birdie putts also. -4 and hoping for more. This is a pitch and putt corse for the most part. Elevation change and wind are the main concern otherwise. I've seen this course decried as baby Water Works, but that may be overhyping it.
