Cons:
Cheap baskets
not marked well
Other Thoughts:
This is a decent little church course with slight elevation change, plenty of trees and some interesting shots.
Hole one starts near the entrance of the parking lot and follows over to the west side of the church. Several oak tree's to navigate making the holes interesting and not just a simple pitch and putt.
Tee's are marked with stepping stones, however the hole numbers are starting to fade and some of them still had surveyor flags marking the tees.
My only issue with the course was the crossing fairway with hole 5 crossing hole 4's fairway.
There are only 9 of the cheapest baskets you can get, but the map on UDisc shows 12 holes. There were cars parked on the "fairway" for 10, I did see flags marking 11 and 12 but choose not to mess with those holes and it appears someone just added them. (10 was not marked at all, other were not marked with stepping stones only surveyor flags)
Hole "10" throws back to hole 3 basket, hole 11 throws to hole 2 basket (across the parking lot) and then 12 throws back to hole 1 basket.
On a whole, the course had decent fairways and was pretty good, specially for a church property course.
Would I play here again? Well, it was a decent course, I would not drive out of my way to play here, but it is a better overall course than the next 2 closes courses to this location. So if your in Wimberley, this is the best course in the area.
