Quite the Eyesore 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 7, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

- A few holes to really air it out on
- Concrete tees throughout
- A good mix of challenging holes and straight-forward holes

Cons:

- Baskets are in pretty bad shape
- Tees are in okay shape
- There was trash all over the course (I think there was some kind of overnight event the night before)
- The holes were a bit crammed onto the property, there were a few cases where an errant drive could end up on another hole

Other Thoughts:

- This course would be pretty decent with some TLC
- The course looks to be a place for homeless people to find shelter in the trees, keep an eye out so you don't hit them

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 11, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Its a course.
Has Baskets
Has Tee pads.
Slight elevation.
Good course to practice distance.
Large parking lot.
Little homemade bridges to get over small drainage ditch run through the course.

Cons:

Older basically forgotten course.
Old signs have seen better days if still around.
Old baskets that need a lot of work.
Tee pads need to be replaced.

Other Thoughts:

Course basically needs to upgraded and redesigned.
Its another course if your a course chaser.
Trash everywhere.
Course would be good for practice.
I would't go out of the way for this course.

pack heat 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 11, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

The front 9 is pretty fun, and gives you opportunity to throw a lot of different shots. There is really only one chance to lose plastic (the ditch). There wasn't much traffic, and the local players showed us the course outlay and also played in our group. (safety in numbers?)

Cons:

This course is on the south side of OKC, and has it's share of bums, junkies, and wanna be gangs (that marked up the signs). There are two holes on the back 9 that are challenging? Maybe impossible without chancing losing plastic toward the highway trying to hyzer around all the trees in the way. The man that showed us around told us not to be out at dusk/dark. Wonder if there are vampires there?

Other Thoughts:

It was a fun change of pace. We played around 5pm and didn't have any problems.

Pros:

A change, thats about it. Not bad to go out and throw some holes or get another course under your belt. The baskets are ok and the tees are good, especially for the neighborhood its in. Lots of different shots on the front and not super hard so you can try lots of shots. A good place to learn the roller. You can throw skip shots too, and throw big air shots as well. Its worth the drive north to Rogers/Dolese or go south to Norman where there is better golf.

Cons:

Very hot. Its in a bad neighborhood and there are usually bums out on the course. The back nine is pretty stupid and has alot of the same shots. Hard to navigate and need a guide or lots of time.

Other Thoughts:

Bring lots of cold drinks because it is a long walk and the end is never in sight!
