Quick, easy 18 hole course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 9, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Free to play 18 hole course
- Decent mix of open/wooded holes
- Very low traffic
- New course, so still being worked on

Cons:

- Not a single long hole, longest is probably not much over 300ft
- Hardly any elevation changes, only on a couple of holes
- No signage/direction
- Not very close to other good courses (maybe Becker)

Other Thoughts:

I was excited when I heard there would be a new 18 hole course in Zimmerman, because I live in Elk River and every 18 hole course is at least 20 minutes away.

This course is very easy, very basic, and can be played very quickly. With a fast group, or by yourself, you can easily complete this course in less than an hour.

The first four holes lack any real variety, but after that things start to get slightly more interesting. You end up going into the woods for about 75% of the course, but each hole is a short shot with a few trees to avoid.

If you are a beginner, or want to introduce some people to disc golf, this would be a great course to play. However, if you want something a little more challenging, you may as well head to Becker or more towards the cities.
