on the front in the thong is my favorite putter, a soft voodoo with 2 magic misprints and a supersoft misprint. Can't wait for my new bag to get here, though

Sounds good. I think I'll do this real soon! Thanks for the update.

on one of my quad hookups, i unintentionally got some on the plastic, and some of the nylon strap, it came off the plastic like rubber cement ? it stuck good, but the plastic was smooth, it was a thin little bit of oops... if it were "dipped" i think it woulda held, but i wanted it off anyways

on the nylon(part that holds the clip), it was barely rubbed on, like i nicked it with a brush while applying, i fought it, was able to get some off, but its 'in' the fabric, if you have any worry, just put it on thicker, my bottom is solid

if it does wear, you can always coat over the top

True, I'm going to put it on an Innova Deluxe so hopefully the fabric will absorb the first coat like yours and the second (maybe third if needed) will be the real heavy duty protective layer.

worst case scenario, it does wear

i mean it isn't going to eat away at the existing bag

update
played 15 rounds since that post above
total =30 rounds
26 of which are on a course with 24 holes
:)
hehe, got 5 rounds of 18 in today, all of which was in a light rain

i've been setting this bag down a lil more aggressively, and i can see where the plasti dip is rubbing at...i don't know where the other "fade bags" wore out, but i can easily guess where the wear spots are...

i'm now even more excited i had done the work, this stuff will wear, i'm so happy my bag isn't!

i could see doing touch up coats on the corners and edges once a year or 2 if i keep playing this much,
nice bonus about the plastidip is i can shoot it with a spray can and have it done in a minute minus dry time

i did do the liquid originally- if i were to do again, i'd come up at least 3/4 inch up on the sides, i did half in or so, and some puddles are deeper (i said i was testing it... it dont float :.)

i may add some feet of sorts to the bottom, try to keep dirt off my back when i put it on
really dont see this wearing down to the fabric unless i drag it around
the "wear" i speak of is minimal, not sure how well my camera will show up, but it's like dull now in spots, same texture I.E. not sanded... just dull looking

my buddy laughed when i set it in a puddle to take mud off at the end of our 6 hour day at the course, wiped with a towel, and she looks great

you guys have no idea how many other items i have lined up to be plasti dipped hehe, when i get another bottle i'll post some pics of some crazy different items, so far i got 6 lined up ...wonder if i could waterproof an old comfy pair of shoes with this HAHA

aight, well, just wanted to add an update, sorry for sales pitchin

and my new handle, its lighter and smaller - plus i used a rubber bungee cord, cut 5-6 inches off and tied it inside the handle (i really dig the suspension on the quads... and i wanted ahandle with the same joyous suspension - great for those times a disc hits the tree 10 ft in front of you... or you dont feel like having it on your shoulder

yeah, i think any material getting set on rocks/dirt/concrete whatever ... its gonna wear, this just makes it repairable
:)

update. Just got my new fade crunch box in. Can't wait to take it to the course!

Nice bag and nice pool :D

Thanks! If you look in the corner you can see my dog too. lol. I just got this bag yesterday and it's amazing. Holds 11 discs perfectly in the big part and 2 putters in the front and a mini. Works perfectly for me, deciding that I don't want to carry any more than 13 discs anyway.

showing off my new zipper pulls, i was bored and this is my solution for a silent bag
also, if you look at my quad hookup , you can see the rubber hose i slid on there - keeps it quiet, and guarantees no tangles, it's loose, yet tight enough to where they stay pushed out?? not sure if i worded that right

MotoDj: Thanks for the tip on the Plastisol. I will be implementing this for sure to the camo version from Fade I got for Christmas. Also looking to upgrade the MP3 speakers.

Just got my new bag, its a E-ray Pro bag. New manufacturer with Jesper Lundmark, Markus Källström and Ville Piippo on the team. Quality seems great, a guy on another forum said that it was just as good as his Carolina bag. It also comes with a nice set of quads that were really comfy. Will take some better pictures when i get my hands on a camera.

Some info:
Made from 1680 Denier Polyester
Holds about 18 in the main compartment and 2 in the putterpocket
Two bottleholders
Two big sidepockets, one open compartment on the back as well as 2 small waterproof pockets for your money/cellphone.

Looks nice, but why not an elastic putter pocket. Put one disc in there and it will flop around and possibly fall out.

Note to "big name/$$$" bag makers: How about a draw string putter pocket that the user can adjust the tightness level? Make it loose enough for 2 putters but able to tighten up to hold one.

i think fades elastic is perfect for 1 or 2 putters, nice gentle elastic that stretches enough to hold 3 discs if your greedy... 4 if you wanna 'Ron Jeremy' a virgin

my only grip against said elastic is that you can't just drop a putter in, you have to either 2hand it or get your finger in to 'open' the hole

hehe, advantages to both i guess, never had a loose one myself, i like the elastic so far..

Yeah, Innova and Fade have the elastic but Gorilla Boy, Revo, Pheonix don't. That would be something that drives me nuts, pay $100+ for a bag to have my putter flop around the pocket and always worry about it falling out.
