I'm signed up for Spinski's Ace Race in Monterey, MI. Its about 30 miles South/Southwest of Grand Rapids. I was never told the format when I signed up, I just read about it on the Discraft site.
Two "prototype" discs only, one throw per hole, and most aces wins? Sounds like a fun time!

I'll be running -- and maybe actually playing this year, thanks to finally getting volunteers! -- the one at LTC Cleveland on 09/11, followed immediately by our second (now annual) Ace Revenge where the winner gets a portable basket; lots of other prizes besides the Discraft package to be won!

Going to be adding at least 6 temp holes to break up some of the longer walks between the longer holes. That will make it at least 24 holes. Playing two rounds, that is at least 48 attempts to get an ace.
We will have use of both pavilions, giving us the space for bbq and plenty of refreshments.

Just saw that there will be one at Fewell Park in Rock Hill, SC. A perfect ace race course. One of the holes is actually about 70 feet from the short tee I believe.

Hey, JT if it makes you feel any better i am 17 and basically run all the tournys at my hometown and get disc golf known. If you get the ok by your parents to cover the fees get one going. It's really fun.

I'm hoping someone will do one somewhere around Tampa... even Clearwater I might go to. All the ones I've seen so far are up in the Panhandle. I'm not going THAT far.

i have never done an Ace Race, how does it work if you sign up for multiples? do you get a new players pack for each one?

You can play as many as you like and get the pack everytime!

Thanks, i figured that was the case, but just thought i'd check. one could theoretically pay for their second or third race by selling their players packs
