One hit wonders

What discs do you have in your bag that are "one hit wonders"? That is, discs that do one thing so well, that you keep it in your bag just for that purpose.

Mine is the Meteor. I have been working with a Buzzz SS and really like it so far but it overlaps with the Meteor. I would like to drop the Meteor but the one thing it does so well is a downhill shot. I have never seen a disc just go arrow straight down a hill. The Buzzz SS did not compare so well in this regard.

My beat to **** Pro-D Hawk on a RHBH hyzer flip. It's the one disk that I feel comfortable placing it on any line, even as small as a few feet from anywhere up to 230'. If I have accuracy to use it right I can put it dead straight. Not even my Dart finishes that soft and straight.

DX teebird.. I thought it was gonna be garbage and its the best hyzer-flip disc in the woods I have ever thrown. It'll just predictably drift right and never get over on itself.

I've got a few: A really beat-in Leopard for predictable turnovers down tight fairways. A Dragon for water holes and a beat SSS Voodoo for layups that need to stick.

I have this one particular destroyer that I bought,and sweet baby jesus,it has xcal stability,if not more.

I had a bottom stamp that I thought was ridiculous,then I got this thing,and it's seriously the most stable thing I've ever thrown,but god can I do some stupid shots with it opcorn:

when I read the title I thought you meant companies that have one good disc. Made me think of 1080 disc golf, they made the Radius 1.1 in two different plastics. That was my go to putter for a long time. Now they are winter discs.

i use to keep a pegasus in my bag just for fh rollers but i took it out cause i can do them just as well with a beat firebird

birdie/polecat. any straight approach from 100 and in. ive knocked more than enough birdies with these off of less than ideal drives due to the slow straight flight they get with just a wrist snap across the chest (rhbh)

a beat to heck champ panther, its great in the woods. and i can get up to 320ft on it. hyzer flips real easy with minimal power and doesnt fade left (RHBH) just finishes straight or slightly right

xXx - I don't have the snap to get any distance with it. But when I need a sharp right turn (LHBH), a big rainbow if you will, nothing else can do it. Besides its got quite a sexy dye on it.

My comet. It's slow and will not get off a line. I only use it for soft anhyzers at spike annys but what it does it does very well
