That's a lot of stamp to not screw up

That stamp is an eyesore, everything but the Southern Nationals Am Champs and the date/location shoulda been wiped! A word to you stamp designers out there, put all the ads you want on the tourney tees but please do not disgrace our beautiful plastic with crap like that.

oh and btw, nice brainwaves on that one :D

 That's why we love you Dan! Standing up for the rights of plastic everywhere ;) Thank you!

To bad most TDs aren't thinking about stamp removal. Sweet brainwave though. That is by far the most cluttered stamp I have ever seen.

Because going to Clemson is like diving into a nebula right??? ;) That Vector got a sweet facelift S.Cann!

Playing around tonight. I'd already done the red, yellow, and orange marble on this sidewinder but had left the outer rim for something else, Jeff your spin painting turned out to be what I was waiting for.

I frickin' love the way you get those fine squiggly lines, it's a really nice effect DTP. That disc is eerie nice!

Thanks, Dan! This is one of this year's ace race discs. The dye is a combination of a spin dye and acetone brush work. I really need to get a dimmer switch on the fan instead of just clicking it on and off as I go.

This is what I LOVE about this forum and thread in particular! Incredible work!

Think about this time last year, or two years ago -- all that we as a group here on DGCR have learned, mastered, shared, and thrown -- so many new marbling techniques, painting trials and errors and mixes, a whole new crop of talented artists, and now guys like Brainwave Jeff and Philman jumping back into the scene -- I can only imagine what the future holds for this part of the sport we love, but I can guarantee you it will be EPIC.
I'm betting we figure how to dye Glow dye by this time next year... :D

I just hope someone makes a wide range of dye choices that work for us. iDye just won't budge on expanding the poly line no matter how often I bug them, which is every couple months. Agree though some crazy cool stuff going on. I feel like I'm missing out :(

yeah i'm pretty sure i've cracked that nut.....

behold the color turquoise, and a green that is actually green on my ugly test disc.

How dare you use a clear disc as a test disc. I'm crushed. BTW, Marshall street has white no stamp volts for sale. There were six, I got two of them.

you have to use clear test discs if your testing dye for clear plastic types. it is easier to dye white plastic than it is to dye the clear ones. there are less stabilizers in the clear plastics to "Stain". so if a dye works well on clear, it will work on esp/star for sure.

I think Bigman made the comment about clear plastic because, well that's his thing. Also you mind sharing what type of dye that is? ;)

i knew what bigman meant. Clear is my thing as well, but like i said to ensure quality of the color and the best way to test that is on a clear disc. you will also see swatches of green where i was trying to find a good mix for my okthrowberfest submission.

I don't mind sharing my information but its not something your going to get from a local store, but the good news is you might be able to find it through a different distributor.

If your interested in my source shoot me a PM, i'm not quite ready to post it to the world yet. I'm a little sore about the guy who sells dyes to marshall street. I don't mind people sharing designs, but he was a different level of unpleasant in the emails he sent me.
