Hello I'm new here so I figure my first post can be of my shiny new plastic. Sorry for the crappy phone pic.

Got a batch of my Skulboy Designs Lat 64 Rivers in sweet color shift plastic.

Its been 8 years since I ordered any discs and after finding a new local course, decided to dust off the bags and discs. Going through the discs and searching the internet I came to discover that some of my favorite discs can not be replaced if I were to lose them (some SE discs, a Ching Fusion Tank, a couple of KC 9X, a CE Aero, some glow discs, and some unique stamps.) While I will likely use the discs again in the future (all have been marked up with a sharpie so not collectable either), I did not want to lose them as I re-learn the game after a long lay off.

Coming inbound:

1 - Leopard DX
3 - Aero DX (grabbed some extras to get some friends to start playing)
1 - Dart DX
1- Comet Elite-X
1 - Sabre Evolution
1 - Katana (want to try a high speed disc, they were not available when I last played)
2 - Rhyno R-Pro (hoping to find a similar feel to my SE Ryhno and Ching FT)
1 - Astra in Millenium
1 - QMS
1 - Sentianl MF in Sirius

Not sure how well I will be able to throw the Katana and Astra, but wanted to see how the newer disc have evolved and hope to eventually find a half decent driving stroke as I step back into the game.

Hoping to get out tomorrow and get some throwing in. :)

Bought a 175/176g Elite-X Buzzz today. I have heard so many good things about the Buzzz, and my mid-game is awful, so I decided it was about that time. If I like it I think I'll upgrade the plastic and maybe get the Buzzz SS. It's my first Discraft disc too, I've been working with solely Innova in my young DG career. Looking forward to getting out to throw the Buzzz around tomorrow!!

I read a post on here recently about the benefits of throwing base line plastic in order to get a better feel for the way your favorite molds fly as they get more and more seasoned, so I picked up a

pro d buzz
dx leopard
dx teebird
dx sidewinder

This could easily get moved to another forum thread if I spend too much time commenting, but I had to throw a few things out there.

Overall I like the choices. The Aero, to each his own; the Katana, what plastic did you get because between the three (Pro, Champion, Star) you are going to find a wide variety of stability, essentially they are three different discs; the R-Pro Rhynos, while I despise R-Pro in drivers, I think the Rhynos and Pigs in this plastic are excellent exceptions.

Three Tournament Swords

172 - Black
169 - Dark blue
168- Colorshift Red

I wish someone had told me about these discs earlier. I am all over these after just one round of play with it. My only wish is to try one lighter just to see if they can hold the same stability but have a little better glide. Westside says they come as light as 161 but the lightest I have come across anywhere is 168.

Katana is in Pro plastic. Was looking for the least stable of the 3 plastics.

R-Pro Rhynos, I am hoping that R-Pro is close to the SE Rhyno and Ching Fusion Tank plastic. Should be arriving today.

The Aero, the first disk I could make do what I wanted it to. Always have had one in the bag since I bought my first disks, can't see playing with out one. A comfort disk I guess.

Got out today and shot a +2 over 9. Better than I expected, but a lot of room for improvement.

Lol... i saw your name under the "Last Post" column for this thread... i guessed it before i clicked the link. :D

:hfive:

Hope it agrees with you. If not, think of me first before selling. ;)

Just ordered a Pro Leopard to match up with the Champ I've been throwing. I want to see the extra glide these Pro's are supposed to have.

Also ordered another X Comet to go along with the ESP and X that I already have. At some point I'll be able to throw these damn things straight with some level of consistency. (Field work, field work, field work.) Stupid OAT.

From GottaGoGottaThrow:

167 Z Comet (Orange)
172 Prostyle D-3 (red, white and blue)
