How long did it take to get your 1st ACE?

It was about 6 months or so, but it was on a hole that's about 160. It's not a long course at all, but it's all I knew or at the time. My first ace over 200' was a 284' hole a little over 2 years after starting.
it took me 3months to get my first one, and ive had 6 in all... it will be a year of playing on august 23. i play at least 7 rounds a week, and have had at least twice as many near aces, than actual aces.

Took me 8 years to get my first ace. Havent got another one since. Been close countless times. I have witnessed probably about 10. Its awesome every time it happens.

took me a few months to hit my first, then i hit like 20 in 2-3 years..a dozen of those(at least) on one course(bayville in va beach)...hit my 27th in april of this year..
5 years and 11 days. July 28 will be the one year anniversary. I've hit a basket top and and a facemask since, but that's been about it.
took me 8mo's to get my first ace, it was a skip ace to a basket tucked behind some trees, didn't even get to see it go in, but did hear the chains rattle from the box. been playing almost 3yrs now, still waiting on no2. hit the cage a few weeks ago, about an inch below the top, i thought it was no2, but not quite.
Took me 3 and a half months and then I got one in a tournament while it was raining. Haven't gotten one yet though I have hit the chains several times.

Almost a year after I started playing regularly got my first ace, the only one so far. The first time I ever played DG was about 3 yrs, only played twice that summer, and then the next summer I might have played 6 times, but last summer is when I started playing almost everyday. I thought I had my first ace last summer, hit dead center basket/chain after a skip and bounced back 15 ft.

It took me about 5 years to get my first one. They came quick after that though seeing that I have 12 in the last 3 years

about 8 months from the time I started playing and growing my disc collection.

I wish I could answer that question. I've been playing over 6 years now and still haven't hit one, hit the pole once and the facemask last year. Parked one about a foot and a half away last Sunday.
5 at kilborne old hole#1 skip ace 265'.old hole#2 240, OLd#6 285, old#8 235" and hole #15 315" blind shot...got my 6th at abermarle #2 161"
Started playing in 1998 or so, stayed really casual with my play for quite some time. Even though Triangle Sports Area was my home course for years, I think my f***-around approach to the sport really limited my ability to truly "run at the chains"...if I'd gotten an ace in that period of my DGing days, today I'd attribute it to stupid luck.
However, I didn't get an ace until after I started getting REALLY serious about my game, and I got my first in 2007. Almost one year later to the day (6 days short of a year), I got my second, followed by my third a week after that. So far this year I've gotten one, so I'm getting at least 1 a year since my first.

I've been playing almost a year without one... I have hit chain on 10 of the 18 holes at C.P.Adams Park, but have not had the disc stick... I witnessed two in three days a couple weeks ago... Mine is coming...
