Max out your Mojo!

So I played a round with fellow DGCRer Um... this weekend, and after letting me inspect his Voodoo Mojo, I am sold on my next bag. Funny thing is, he didn't even have the thing filled all the way, and he had plenty of discs and plenty of storage space.

It got me to thinking: Is anyone maxing out their Mojo? I'd love to see it if you are! This will hold me over until a) Totem brown is back in stock and b)I can convince my wife this is a good Christmas present in October.

So let's hear/see it! What are you putting in your Mojo when it is packed to the gills? Descriptions or photos are fine. Thanks!

I keep 14 in the main compartment, 2 outside of the frame liner, 2 putters in front, and you can put around 5 drivers in each side pocket. I have a review on youtube on my mojo. It may help you convince your wife. lol

So around 28 give or take.

What other kind of stuff are you jamming in there? I want the kitchen sink, even though I don't need it. More just curious to see what people take besides their discs.

Link to your YouTube page?

25-28 discs won't leave much room for other stuff. Possible, sure. But then you're defying the design of the bag. The Karma is a better option if you want to pack with discs and still have room for a sweater and 6 beers.

hmm right now without the divider in mine i have 16.. but mine is the old model with the one count putter pouch and i carry a good many mids/putters.. if i wanted to put stuff in the sides i think i could do 2 in each pocket and still be able to actually use the pockets for storage since they have all the nice inner pockets.. i would think you could do 20 and still have some space if you like.. right now i have the 16 plus 3x Towells, phone, minis, markers, bug spray, etc. .. if you just wanted to carry plastic in the outside pockets i bet you could get 4 in each side.. but yeah i have owned many bags and this one is by faaaarrrr my fav

Thanks, this is what I am looking for! I know it jas extra disc capacity in the side pockets, but I like hearing what else besides plastic you're throwing in. Keep it coming!

OK, lol, then it's easier for someone to give you an opinion with that information. 16 discs can fit in the main compartment/putter pocket. That leaves all of the side space open. In the right side pocket I kept my sunscreen, bug spray, hand powder, spare towel and 4 dri-fit shirts rolled up (one of each of my shirt designs). The mesh outer pocket held a set of iPod speakers. The left side held my wallet, cell phone, keys, business cards, a RIPT deck, some snacks (peanuts/granola bars/etc.), 3 cans of beer, and a light jacket if needed. Bag does get a little heavy when it's packed to the gills, though.

Sorry, I should have clarified about the amount of discs. I figure, at the max (and this is counting bringing warm-up putters and all backups) I will have 9 drivers, 6 mids, and 5 putters, which would leave me a whole other side to cram stuff into. Impressive. I really like the construction and materials, and the price point. I was looking at a Grip, which I know is the gold standard these days, but just can't justify the price point for how often I am playing right now. The Mojo certainly sounds like it can do what I want, and then some.

Re-reading this, I still can't believe all the stuff you fit in that left side pocket. Three cans of beer, AND all your other gear? Wow.

Like I said, it gets heavy. And it is pretty tight. But the fact that the left pocket has 3 other pockets inside really helps minimize the space being used. If I just threw all that stuff in there, it might not close. But because everything has a place to go, it works.

I'd vouch for this easily since I'm usually the pack mule for the other dummy in the group that refuses to carry a bag and has me carrying both his and my beers (if packing). That dude REALLY needs to nut up and get a sack. Pun intended. :p

I can fit 3-4 beers in there, a longsleeve thermal shirt, my phone in the phone pocket (if not using my speakers), my wallet, keys, a flashlight, and a couple of granola bars/snacks. That's usually the MAX I'll carry in a single pocket. In the other pocket, I've got a towel, my portable speakers for my teen pop and country music, and sometimes a couple of extra discs that I don't pull out often, and there's still room for more. It's really a deceptively cavernous bag.

See, you had so much space in that thing, it seemed like you weren't even carrying that much. But I think "deceptively cavernous" hits the nail on the head.

Also, I think if we each pitched in $10 and purchased the NutSac ourselves, he'd almost HAVE to wear it, right?

Let's see...

Putter pocket:
SSS magic
Glow magic

Main disc pocket:
Glow buzzz
Glow buzzz
Fuse
Wizard
Teebird
Tee bird
Vision

Left pocket:
Sandwhich Tupperware container with 4 cliff bars
Spare towel
Glucometer
Insulin
1-2 cans of beer if I'm drinking

Right side:
UV flashlight
2 rolls of tape
Disc lights
2 led flashlights
Glucose tablets
Golf ball
Extra golden retriever string
1-2 cans of beer if I'm drinking
Small first aid kit

Mesh sides and bottle holders:
2 24oz bottles of water

Sunflower seeds

Oh and 2 pencils and 2 minis in the outside pockets

This is an outdated picture of my bag, but we will use it simply for reference:

15 discs in my main compartment:
2 Preds
2 Orcs
3 Eagles
2 Rivers
2 Wasps
2 Comets
1 Fuse
1 Z Challenger

2 In the putter pocket:
2 D Challengers

Left Side Pocket:
Sm. Velcro Pocket 1: Wallet
Sm. Velcro Pocket 2: Phone
Large lower pocket: Clean Towel
Extra Space: Car Keys, Seasonal necessities (bug spray, sweatshirt, etc.)

Left Mesh Pocket:
Markers / Scorecard

Right Side Pocket:
Large Velcro Pocket: PDGA Rule Book
Extra Space:
1 Z Drone
2-3 DX/D versions of main compartment molds for rainy / moist days. The DX molds carried varies by the course.

Right Side Mesh Pocket:
Birdy Bag

2 Towels clipped to bag
2 Water bottles

And I still have plenty of room to fit more stuff in the side pockets if I really wanted to cram them full.

I don't always carry my iPod but if I do I use headphones and so it stays on my body and not in the bag.

Funny how small that picture makes the Mojo look! That's a great part about it IMO though. Relatively small profile with tons of storage space.

I was partial to the bag that rugball brought out for him. Safeway special. :D

Just doing my best to lend a hand. :D

Yeah, the mojo is a sharp bag. Low profile but packs a surprisingly large number of discs. I bounce between my crunchbox, and Lat 64 pro depending on if I want to drag extra discs along to try out. I'd probably get a karma if it ever falls apart.

Yeah, I like your Pro Bag, too, but I like the smaller footprint of the Mojo a bit better. If you get a Karma, we'll just have to make you the pack mule, I guess!
