In the New Rebel, is the vertical shelving removable? It looks like it would poke up higher than the bag and be uncomfortabke. Does anybody have one and can prove me wrong? Other than that, the bag looks great!

So the gf said shes going to buy me any disc golf backpack I want for a late x-mas present. i'm really thinking about the rebel. It just looks amazing and comfortable, plus I can burn off the refresh code later and give her my hand-me-down!

Here's my dilemma, I was pretty dead set until I heard about the folding seat one! Any news of this? Or will I probably wait awhile, especially since the new rebel just came out?


Or is it possibly an add on to existing bags???

Also wondering when the "seat-ina-bag" will be coming out. In time for summer???

I ordered mine a long time ago and from all the holiday madness it hasn't been shipped yet. I'm hoping to have it by this time next week. If I get the chance, I'll post a quick review vid, though this is my first UPD bag so I can't compare it to the other shifts.

I have the shift and I absolutely love it. I was carrying a Soldier before, and I am much happier with the Shift. Perfect size for what I need. And extremely comfortable and user friendly.

Don't know if I will/can compare since it's such a uniquely designed bag, but I've used Grip and Ranger bags in the past.

I have the original Rebel and my buddy has the version two. We are hoping to get together in a few weeks and do a side by side comparison of the three just so folks can see how they have progressed.

So my computer is being weird and not letting my upload my review vid, but it's basically the same as the old bags from what I can tell (even though I haven't owned an older UPD bag), but the color pops really well and the bag feels very solid. The structure of the bag is really solid and the bag is insanely comfortable and light.

It's not a review video but here is an unboxing of my new Rebel in the Mykonos Blue/Hawaiian Ocean. I agree with you the1discChallenge, the colors on this really pop. That is one thing that has not changed since the original rebel bags. If anything the addition of the colored zippers has made it pop even more.

I still plan on getting a comparison video of all three versions of the Rebel in the next week or two. It just depends on when i can get together with my buddy who has the v2.

So after playing this whole previous year with the innova starter bag, then an old book bag, then a used Magellan, I decided to invest in a real bag.

Slight shift is on its way to me and I am very excited to check it out!

The only people who I have heard talk **** about UPD bags are the typical snarky DGCR users who think they are better than everyone: Aim, Stardoggy, B3NDER, etc.

Most people who see them really like them.

Uh, Aim was the person who pointed me in the direction of UPD...

Any reviews on the new shift? How much better is it?

Is there a 3rd Gen out now? I've seen the 1st gen vs. my 2nd (or 3rd [whatever was out middle last year]), and there was a big difference. I like mine a LOT better. However, it looks to be the exact same review video on their website that they used with the last release? And the picture is the same? Maybe I am wrong, but that must mean there isn't much difference.

I thought it was different but you might be correct that it's just minor stuff. I thought the bottom was changed. Interested in that I guess.
