2x X-Comets (one flippy, one "frozen rope" stable)
1x GL Pain (stable on it's way to OS)
2x Star TLs (one "frozen rope" stable, one fresh for some gentle fade at end)
2x P-PDs (one "flippy-ish", one for stability with dependable fade at the end)
1x C-PD (meathooks and "get outta trouble" shots)
3x Champion Mamba (one wicked flippy, one for turnovers and one flippy/stable for hyzer flips to flat)
2x X-Link Medium Lace (one light for frozen rope Max-D with fade, one heavier for wind and hyzer bombs)

I love the Charlotte Innova influence. Doesn't it confuse you reading all the different molds that are prevalent in other parts of the country?

I thought it was by mold, but after the "too stiff" medium Wizard debacle, I'm not so sure anymore.

I hear you. It seems that you can ban molds (Turbo Putt) and plastic (G9i) as long as it's not made by Innova.

You can also stamp discs as an approved mold that aren't that mold (Destroyer/Destrulcan) and sell 5 variants of a mold under the same single approved name as different discs (Rocs and Aviars)...as long as it is made by Innova.

^In my opinion the problem with limiting molds is figuring out what comes from the same "mold." I would assume that all Wizards come from the same mold, unless they have the old tooling.

If you choose to carry Rocs can you carry a Rancho, Ontario and San Marino and call them all the same mold? What about when the original mold brakes and they make a new mold?

I don't know if I even carry 25 discs. I have upwards of 50, but a lot of those are bagged or used for field work... Let me try though:

Opto Pure. Grip Pure.
GL Pain. Opto Pain.
FLX Buzzz. Cryztal Buzzz. Z Buzzz.
Star TL.
DX Leopard. Champion Leopard. Star Leopard.
Opto Saint. GL Saint.
Star FL.

There's no way I would carry all of those plastics, but if I only had seven molds I'd have to try something new occasionally...

Well my bag already fits this so no problem here

2 preds
2 Katanas
3 OLFS
2 Eagles
3 Rocs
2 Comets
4 Wizards

Yup, yup. Honestly the wear rate of Innova lends itself towards mold minimization over some of the others (especially Star and KC). I would definitely miss my Zone/Drone overstable Discraft discs.

Easy:
Voodoos*
KC Aviar
Flat Top Rocs*
Fuse
Cyclones*
Leopard
Starfires or Wraiths

* represents essential molds, I could drop everything else with minimal change in shot selection or scoring

Easy Its basically what I already throw...
2x Proline Leopards
2 Firebirds (Candy Pro,11x)
2 or 3 Destroyers (Pro and Champ)
2 Valks (SE and CE)
1 PD (S-Line)
5 or 6 Rocs
4 or 5 Challengers
----
I also carry a 125 gram Birdie (because its Awesome)

why does it have to be limited to a certain number of molds... that's just dumb if you ask me. i can see a disc limit but mold limit?

What determines when a disc is considered a different mold. I dont mean the obvious ones like Eagles come from a different mold then a Destroyer. What I mean are things like Aviars and Gators you have both beaded and beadless options. Doesnt that make each one a different mold? Is the bead just a piece that they add to the mold when necessary and then take it off the mold when not needed?

Tough call for me. Had to eliminate my Xcal & Voodoo.

Nuke - Distance
Flick - Left
Orc - Right
Hornet - Left
Buzzz - Straight
Meteor - Right
SSS Wizard - Cha-ching!

Let's see here. Hmm, i'd have to knock out my Vulcan, Drone, and putt with KC's instead of DX. That'd be a bummer.

The Vulcan and Drone only get used on specific types of shots, so they'd be missed only every few rounds. Changing from DX to KC for putting would be an expensive initial investment (gotta have a bunch for practice)

3 x Destroyer
2 x Firebird
3 x Eagle
2 x Leopard
2 x Whippet
4 x Roc
4 x KC Aviar

PD S and P line...
Two Dx teebirds beat and fresh...
Fresh andSeasoned DX Eagle, champ eagle
3 rocs from new to beat.
2 ABC Missions fresh and seasoned.
2 S series Demons fresher and more worn.
2 S line P2's
16 discs hmmmmm....

OLF (Q and S)
Volt (N)
Hornet (ESP)
Buzzz (Glo Z)
Comet (Z)
Anode (S Eclipse)
Warlock (SS)
- 3 of each of these. All heavy and slightly worn
- could swap out Anodes and grab Firebirds instead for long, open courses

Well I'm under the belief that the plastic can change between the mold but not the actual configuration of the disc itself. So an Aviar PnA is a different mold then a Yeti or KC Pro. An addition of a bead makes it a different mold IMO

Challenger: Pro D for drives and Soft X for putts and upshots.
Buzzz: Z for lots of different shots
Meteor: ESP for turnovers and flick anhyzers
Zone: Z for upshots, trouble shots, utility, short flicks and short hyzer drives
Eagle-X: 11x Champion for hyzer shots, flex shots, flicks, headwinds
Eagle-L: 11x Champion for hyzerflips, straight shots, anyhyzers, tailwinds and turnovers.
Teebird: 11x Champion for straight shots with a touch of fade or subtle hyzers and DX for distance
