:thmbdown:played the Vibram Birdie Bash today. Ordered the Lace and Ridge. The Lace is probably the most under stable disc I have ever seen in my life. It's more flippy than the Mamba. It makes the Mamba look like a Nuke OS!!! My primary driver is a Nuke SS. Throw the Lace flat right hand forearm and it flips instantly and goes into a roller. Little angle and it goes way off course. Even the backhanders were having massive issues with it today. Didnt hear 1 good thing about it today during the whole 36 holes. I would rather have used a Groove than this thing called a Lace.

Yea ok your point.

I think his point is that OAT and rolling your wrist, could be leading to you turning over the Lace. That, or you got the red-headed stepchild of Laces. The Lace will turn out of your hand at high speeds (thrown flat)...but it should come back.

It's not a headwind fighter either. Add headwind, with increased torque from a FH, and I could see it flipping.

You throw your Nuke SS forehand?

Sometimes they bomb for me and sometimes they come up short for me on a backhand throw. I usually only max out a little over 350, and my flicks don't even compare. Anytime I've flicked this disc it hyzers out from my poor speed(great snap on a flick poor launch speed). Really what is your point? It doesn't suit your throw style or possibly even the environmental variable you failed to mention. I seen tons of people at our Birdie bash have loads of trouble throwing it and I seen the same problems all over, bad form! You will not always discover a magic disc after 1 rd or even 3 for that matter. Patience young grasshopper(you're prolly older than me lol)

Yea Im sorry but the lace is not that flippy. Coming from someone who can actually throw far and correctly I can tell you it is not the arrow but more than likely the archer.

I understand you don't like the Lace. I understand you find it too understable. I don't understand why you make a thread like that, using capital letter (synonyme of yelling) telling everyone that a disc you have used one day, is the worst disc ever made. Waste of your time and a very bad way to say thanks to Vibram for organizing a nice event in which you got two premium discs for a very good price.
Next time :
STFU, and trade it in the marketplace. For the record, Vibram is supporting disc golf big time, although I'm sure they could spend their millions elsewhere.

You're tempting fate buster.

99.9% of my drives are forehand. Drivers in the bag are "Nuke SS, Nuke, Crush, 2.0 Flick, 2.5 Flick, D1, flick all of them with no problems.

I'd be curious to see the Nuke SS thrown sidearm, I've never seen that before. Do you play extremely wide open holes?

Yes.... Through the Lace and its instant roller. Lost distance with the lace. There were tons of other people there today who were having the same problems with the lace.

Yup, it's form. Watch OAT video, work on form and maybe you'll like the lace.
