So, I have been hearing a few rumors lately on the local course that one of our members was wanting to dive into the world of making discs.

There was a few pro players in town the other day that put on a clinic. Well I overheard that they were in town for an another reason. They were originally here to collaborate on the production of the new discs.

One former member from Innova has joined in with them to make the discs correct. Can't remember the guys name, but I hear he is one of the pioneers of molding Star plastic and Night Shift Orcs.

I also heard them saying something about the plastic being the same plastic as the Original CE from back in the day. Supposedly they guy from Innova knows all the old plastic formulas to get the "good stuff".

Also the company that is going to make the discs is right here in good ol' Mississippi. The guys doing the molding are the same people that mold the duck calls for Duck Commander.

I really didn't believe all the stories until yesterday when a buddy of mine was out at the course and spotted one of the New Discs sitting up on the guy's dashboard.

I talked to the guy and he confirmed that he is going to start making discs and should be out at the course tomorrow testing out his first runs. I am going to try to get out there and feel the discs and snap some pics for you guys.

But for now, this is all I got.

Wow that's a lot of factors.. Hope the rumors prove to be 100 percent true, haven't ever felt much less thrown CE cause its so damn expensive

That disc looks like a ninja. How can u tell its not another manufacturer?

How does it look like a ninja? Aren't they only in pink and maybe blue?

They haven't come out with a complete lineup yet of the greatest pieces of plastic the world has ever known? Pfft! I'll never throw their discs.

That's an awesome piece of news, shroom. If the CE rumor is true, and they keep the prices down, it'll only put extra pressure on the big boys to step their game up faster. Any possibility you can talk to them about their intentions toward consistency (PLH, dome, etc.) if you get a chance to talk shop with them?

Hmmm, I too have heard this rumor...although I have not seen or felt the discs. I'm sure I will soon enough! Ahhh, good ole Mississippi!

I heard team Prodigy was jumping ship to get involved

Haha, Funny you say that. The guy from Innova, was helping Prodigy. Once they got a little bit close to what they wanted, they said "thanks, we got it from here." So now he is wanting to show what can really be done when people work with hime until the end.

Please snap a photo of "the guy" or at least ask his name.

Wait, you heard rumors, that some guys who make duck calls, were rumored to have some previous Innova guys, who you heard pioneered Star, Night Shift and know the "good stuff" CE plastic formula, were in town to make a disc you saw on someone's dashboard? I don't want to be skeptical, but aren't there some fact needed for this story? Keep us posted though.

Facts? Who needs facts? We here at DGCR have made long threads based off of less than this in the past.

CE discs are easy to mimic. All you need is a chemist with negative pressure chamber, micron software and boom you know exactly what each disc polymer is composed of and percentages of said polymer.

But at the same time I figured everyone was doing this. A little extra investment goes a long way. 2013 will be very interesting here in the next month :)

I bring news of of new disc maker and share what I heard and nothing but a bunch of downers in here.

Champion Edition plastic isn't really all that, except to the fools paying big money for it. How about something new instead of trying to rehash outdated stuff?
