Introducing SD, Salient Discs

At least English isn't Latitude's native language.

Right, but nobodies telling them to hire an English speaker to correct them. Not trying to argue your good point.

If people like these discs, I don't think they'll actually care if the website goes up in Sanskrit.

^^^Although they really need to get the grammar correct before marketing, I look at it this way: its obvious that they are scientists, because their ilk are well-known for incoherency amongst the general public. :D :p

Haha alright guys. Chris has been extremely professional with spelling and grammar with Physical Flight. Im sure everything will be solid by the time the full site is up

Intriguing. I was thinking about this (instead of working, and I need to clear my desk to go on vaca next week....)

If this is going to be a large diameter driver, more than a buzz etc...will it fit in the Contender?

Ha, probably. I don't have the required ratio at my fingertips, but 9 extra grams can't be too many extra cm....? (Sorry, I'm talking with a mouth full of popcorn.)

Though the discs fit well in the contender, there is still plenty of room from the front an back, i have no doubts they will fit :)

hrmmm... this interests me now...

... and if you boys are going to beg make a sign.

This grammar thing's killing me. One of the unintended consequences of studying English at length is that I see grammatical errors in the world like the kid from the movie saw dead people. I can't help it.

And it's everywhere. Multi-million dollar ad campaigns by multi-national corporations have them. And I'm talking about logos/brand names, even at times. Best-selling novels that get edited ad-infinitum. Newpaper front pages. Beyond typos, we're talking.

My boss recently paid $800 for me to go to a one-day sales seminar, with some of the biggest stud salesmen and consultants in the biz (according to them,) and the materials they handed out looked like a kindergarten class project.

I do it all the time myself, as sensitive as I am to it.

Most of the population doesn't notice or care, as long as they get the point, is my take.

Sounds good! Can't wait to try these out. Very cool that he's not just stopping at Disc Production but going full circle with shoes.

He's going to be a very very busy dude.

Shoes that are affordable....generally I buy my DG shoes once a year for under 40 bucks, and they last my 18 months of continuous use. Will these be under 60 and have a putting pump like old school Nikes?

What do you think of Toronto's hockey team, the Maple Leafs? That one drives me nuts. </offtopic>

I think what he wants to target is a more affordable version of keen or merrels. Shoes with great grip, water proof or resistance and slow wear, i dont have any details on that yet however

I don't really think the grammar thing is that big of a deal. They haven't even had an official announcement yet. Besides, it's not as if your post is free of grammatical errors either. It's easier to make mistakes than many people realize.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these giant discs. Just as a point of reference, the Innova Gopher is approved to 190.1 g, and it has a diameter of 22.9 cm. The Comet only has a diameter of 21.8 cm. This is going to be one giant driver.

Sounds like we are getting longer Teebirds in plastic that is just like CE but better.

Man people are brutal here sometimes...hah. Don't be too quick to be a critic. Wait for the official announcement. This is like getting your hands on the rough draft of a speech before most people know there is even going to be a speech...

Hoping this turns out to be a success. New players in any market are always a great thing, especially ones with the motivation to be innovators.

Exactly.

Instead of enjoying his honeymoon, Chris is on here defending stuff that is pre-release at best.

Chris - enjoy your bride. The haters and malcontents will be here when you get home. Trust me.
