How else will you at least give people an open mind. Just because you get an elite team of pros doesn't mean it will be a game changer, but when you provide the kind of info like scientists, equipment,etc.. To back up the claim it makes or a slightly more graspable concept dont you think? Not to bash prodigy of course, the discs are good, just not for me
I'm just trying to give you guys a perspective of where this crowd is coming from. There's a lot of new companies popping up and a few of those have put out this image that they are going to revolutionize disc technology. You can just tell from the sentiments of most that they are tired of that, I think a better PR approach is to let the discs do the talking, then people will ask questions and then you can hit them with all of the science.
I did door to door sales for a year during the height of the recession. One thing I learned over that time is that you can't hit people with a ton of info and expect them to love it and get excited immediately. It was way better to give them nothing and make them question just what you were doing at their door. When they started asking the questions then I could hit them with the information and that made the sell much easier because they asked for it.
You always want people asking for more, not asking for less; and Prodigy is a good example of where some people are asking for less just because of their PR approach. The discs really do feel great, I threw some and they fly pretty great but the image they put out is hurting them.
That's my real talk for the month.
