[Recommend] Overstable complement to the Comet

The Roc3 flies very similarly to the Axis. And Z Buzzz. I think he wants more overstability.

My roc3s are nothing like my Buzzz.. More fade, more stability. I just recently replaced my tensor with an m3 because I prefer the way the m3 feels in my hand over the tensor. The m3 is supposed to be really good in the wind to, although I haven't a chance to see for myself yet as it hasn't been very windy. Also.. The prodigy plastic is sweet.

I couldn't agree more. Buzzz has more turn at higher speeds and hold an anhyzer line longer. It's like calling the Wraith and XCaliber similar.

Also, a flat (like many of the proto stamped) Roc3 and a Ti or flat Z Wasp are as close to the same disc as you can get. IMO, the Ti Wasp has a slight advantage in beef, speed and glide. Hornet is very overstable but has a considerable amount of glide to the ride. Marshall Street calls the Prodigy M1 a "drastically improved Hornet."

The Roc3 may have a touch more fade than the Z Buzzz, and Axis, but they are still pretty straight.
At least, from what I've seen out of my own hand. YMMV.

My Roc3 is beefy for sure. Nothing like a Buzzz. That said the reason I'm thinking about a return to the Wasp is you can get the Wasp in Z which is basically a Roc3 or vice-versa. But then you also have the TI Wasp which is pure beef.

Nebula

I like the Nebula for this spot - fights wind and predictable fade, but not as overstable as the Drone.

That said, they aren't plentiful. :\
Try a Roc3 - if you don't like it, it should hold decent value and be quite tradeable.

Not sure if this has been said or not, but... limited edition Z nebulas were just recently ran and are being sold. I had the opportunity to throw one in the wide open "where wind had plenty of opportunity to jack the flight". For me, it flew much like a very stable buzzz that has a smaller diameter profile.

hornet is what i use. i thought id switch up to ghosts or maces, but there is nothing close to the consistency and dependabilty of hornets

If you are looking for really overstable, then I would go with a Drone.. pure beef. For slightly overstable shots I use a Legacy Icon ghost and I love it.

That's another reason I was looking at them, too. If they are easy to throw, but still have that beef, that is a big plus.
the couple i threw were beef. They remind me of the suspect in that they go straight then fade. even in 150 they were nice and stable. i hesitate to say beefy but almost...

I am looking for more than a Ghost but less than a Drone. I think I have it narrowed down to Wasp or Hornet, but I need to feel them up if my local shop has them.

The Ghost had a similar stability to a Wasp, (at least the Wasp I threw) if that helps you out at all. Never thrown a Hornet, so I can't compare there. My lineup for mids is Comet, Ghost, Drone and it works really well for me. I imagine it would work the same with a Wasp.

All right, that's like the third post saying I'm wrong about the Roc3 and Buzzz. I guess the consensus is clear. I'll stick to my Axis and Tensor anyway. :p
