[Recommend] Salient Disc Golf

We do have a machine. At some point I want to take it out on one of our local courses and use it to play a round! Maybe when I get each hole dialed in I can have a man vs machine challenge. I don't know if other companies have them or not.

There already is a machine that plays. He won Worlds for the second time this year.

At some point, post some pics of it or even better, a video! Is it custom built or did you buy it from somewhere? I am very curious about this machine.

Not sure about showing and close up picts. I'd have to talk to my partners about that, but I made it. It's very simple. Depending on testing, it can throw between 20 and 80 mph consistently. 50mph is standard for testing.

My Prometheus arrived today! 185g.

I really wish I could go throw it right now. I will report on flight as soon as I can.

Scott (Salient-Tech), can you tell me what these markings mean on the bottom of my disc?

Some facets of this industry aren't so nice...I'd keep any advantage you guys have close to the chest. Innova has tried throwing byrons, but they have said that it did not give them useful data. Perhaps your machine is different somehow...

Agreed, as cool as it would be to see, keep this piece of equipment safe out of the Internet. People know its out there and they know its how you can keep your consistency going but it doesn't need to be shown off.

Let me get some feed back or some unofficial votes from you guys. We have several molds we are working on. We are planning on releasing one of our midranges next. Would you like to see an overstable, stable or understable mid? What's your vote?

Stable, something like an Ibex or Axis that can be a workhorse that holds any angle, hopefully.

I suppose some might call those slightly understable, but you get the idea. :D

what up Scott, liking this Prometheus so far. especially forehand.

I would say Stable midrange. beaded. :)

I would say a stable-overstable midrange would be a good addition. Something that will go straight for a good distance but with a reliable fade at the end.

While I wait wait patiently for my Prometheus to show up, I say an over-stable mid would do me the best good. Then a 200g putter
