this disc deserves it's own thread. it's the first putter by dynamic to be produced in lucid. however it had to be produced in lucid air to keep the weight legal, to top it off lat decided to make these moonshine, yes these judges glow. they are more stable than their classic counter parts and have a slight dome to them but they feel great, they fly great and they are going to be super durable. only 75 of the limited run of 450 were stamped for the Oklahoma open so 375 are safely tucked away at DD for future tournament fundraisers. a pic of them is below. like the blizzard champ pigs these are all 176 and 175g. it makes for an awesome driving putter

I was going to grab one of these but decided to wait.

Are we talking Zone stability, Pure stability, or something in between?

I would say pure stability maybe slightly more stable, thing Is I didn't like the rim of the pure for driving but I love the judge rim so I'm a very happy golfer

I was slightly dissapointed in the flight of the Classic and Fuzion Judges. To me it was a bit understable. I wanted straight to slightly stable. So, if these fit that slot then I might be able to replace my Ion.

I ordered 2 in the mail. One was flat like the classics, a darker orange, and didnt hold a glow all that well. The other had a slight dome, more like the eMac fuzions, was a lighter orange, and held the glow pretty well. Throwing both of them, the flat one seemed to be a bit more OS than the domey one, but not by much. I would say in general, they are just a tick more OS than a fresh classic judge. It was a fantastic driving putter/approach putter, I cant wait for these to come out in production. Im guessing Lat didnt like them because of the variation in dome and color variances, but thats pure speculation.

Well, the caramel color doesn't imply "moonshine" either. I don't know that they wanted them to be that color.

^they didnt, tomas made these as a test run and was going to regrind them but dd wanted them so they got them. I think they were going for the typical white color of moonshine plastic. I got one in and have not thrown it yet but i will soon. Its got a higher shoulder than my emac fuzion but it feels nice. My emac fuzion flies like a wizard and emac said these flew similar to thw white fuzions. The gbo's sucked hard, they werent like the white fuzions at all and just flew crappy, unless u wannted a flippy judge. You can see some "stretching" in the plastic from the bubbles or plastic i guess,im sure they will get a better run eventually and hopefully try for an opto air sinus :)

Rusco told me it was mainly the color and the thickness of the plastic on top of the bubble layer had some texture to it. Nothing like the spongy blizzard runs from the one I got to see but not exactly pristine either. They're certainly not lookers but if you don't like the fuzion judge it's another option.

What color stamps did you guys end up getting? I ordered 2 discs and both have silver stamps. Black would've been cool. I dig that design.

I got black but really wanted a metallic of some kind, I'm up for a trade if you are

Are people really that picky about stamp color? Disc color I understand...

Yes. When I go buy a shirt I don't just get whatever color someone hands me, I choose the shirt I want! And the same is true for discs. I like throwing discs that I like how they look.

If someone thinks stamp color isn't that important, then let me pick out their clothes for them. They will not like it.

And I am aware that you could say shirt color is the same as disc color, not stamp color. But if you think that is true then this passes as a yellow shirt

Did you pick that out of your closet? :p

Fair enough, I just don't pay that much attention to stamp color. If a disc comes with a cool stamp, that's a bonus. But I won't generally care about it on a disc. A shirt, yes. Two very different items in my book, though.

...that would pass as a yellow shirt. It's a yellow shirt with a design printed on the front. I'm sure the back is solid yellow. And yes, shirt color would be the same as disc color. Logo color would be the same as stamp color. That was a terrible comparison :|
