Overrated things about disc golf

I think Mandos are pretty cool actually. Not sure what the wedgie rule is, and yes I am sick of debating whether the top of basket should count. Because it definitely shouldn't. However, it should not be a penalty.

wedgies are when the disc wedges in the side of the basket, or bottom

I probably should've specified mandos in recreational play...of course in a tournament you have to respect and abide by the rules, but I just don't get playing a mando during a round with your buddies unless it's there for safety reasons...a lot of times it's just the designer saying, "This is how I want you to throw, don't get creative, don't find a way to deuce this hole if you can't deuce it on this route."

The latest high speed driver or latest greatest plastic is often overrated! I also think your home course and courses in your state are overrated! J/K

Mulligans are overrated - play your lie no matter how sh!tty it is

Posting how long your drives are is overrated - just like my wife says, "men have no ability to judge how long something actually is without a tape measure" ;)

The hippie stereotype. I went out for doubles the first time and was like "Where are all the hippies and what the hell are all these rednecks doing here?" I was so confused I left certain things in the truck. Turns out I was way wrong about that too :). The duck flies at midnight 'round here.

Normally it's the creator going, there is one way to easily duece this hole, now find a way to do it while throwing down a tunnel.

Something I think is overrated about disc golf is hitting the practice field. I'm sure it helps every once in a while but the course is such a better place to learn different kinds of shots. I'm sure that tommy landed right by your cone but try it with branches in your face while on an upslope and it becomes a little different. Practicing putting on a basket is a different story though

While practice and playing on the course are totally different things, not practicing is over rated. This is not something I would have always said but recently I have hit the practice field and it has done wonders for my form, especially on drives. Sorry Shazaam.

Whoever posts after me, definitely overrated.

Getting in a hubbub about Innova's latest disc to be released in R-Pro plastic. I think the R in R-Pro is for retard.

Not using distance drivers because you're scared they may mask an OAT problem. OAT is overrated.

Putters are overrated. You could probably learn to be a damn good putter with Z-Flick if you practiced and developed muscle memory with it.

^ See, what did I tell you.

This guy is NOT overrated.

that is some underrated humor!
