OK, I lost my Fusion Truth last week, and cannot buy them locally. I can get Buzzzes in any plastic. I have a Z that does not fly dead straight like my Truth. For a short term replacement until I get another Truth, do I go ESP or X for dead straight, maybe slight turn and finish without a hard hook?
Flat X for the short term. It's also cheaper.

I hate to go off on a Tangent, but there's an Element of Truth to the statement that lots of people who've thrown a Buzzz prefer something Meteor. If you throw a Roc, I Suspect you're a real Fiend, but only a Demon can beat a Ghost. A dedicated Scout might be able to bag a Fugitive (but only if he's carrying Mace).
Every December 7th, I acknowledge what happened at Pearl harbor and the Shockwave it sent through our country by embarking on a Mission, which at its Core, is to pilot my Warship (the SS Buzzz) on Vector M3 through a raging Squall down the fairway (about 300 ft as the Cro flies), then fire a Mortar directly into the chains and cause some Pain. Verdict is: I'm Lycan my Ibex.

The difference between a Truth and Buzzz is miniscule and within the margin of error of injection molding inconsistencies. I have a Lucid Truth and a bunch of Buzzzes and I see them as equals. I like the rounded lip of the Truth, it feels really good in the hand. But I don't see that as a reason to ditch a Buzzz. The flight pattern seems identical to me, lazer straight with a subtle fade.
I do like the feel of Lucid over Z somewhat, but that is comparing plastics and not the disc itself.

BioFuzion Truth for the win. A touch more stability, especially on the HSS end, but minimal fade unless I purposely underpower it. Fairway like distance when I want it. Take a little acetone to remove some of the production slickness and you have one of the grippiest plastics you will ever throw.

There was only one X in stock. No ESPs. Decided not to buy that X. Put a Claymore in my Truth slot and headed to Thursday afternoon league. Won a lucid Truth. Lulz

The Buzzz is an amazing disc. Amazing...
But I no longer bag a Buzzz, I bag the TRUTH! (In various plastics) :thmbup:
Just like the truth is a better buzzz and the rival is a better tee bird, these new companies have an advantage of making a tried and true disc even better than the classics that came before.
This of course is my mere opinion.

The Truth is not different enough to take out the ESP Buzzz that has been in my bag for the last few years. I see these two discs as mostly interchangeable.
I have thrown both molds and for me I prefer the Truth. I have tried almost every version of each disc. The Buzzz to me had more fade at the end (slight fade) but I never clicked with it and was very inconsistent with my releases. The first time I threw a Bio Truth it flew straight as an arrow on a hole I always had problems on. I knew it was meant to be in my bag.
I personally love the Hybrid Truths and Bio Truths. I recently just picked up a 166g Lucid to do some hyzer flips and turnovers with. The Truth is a great mold and I almost use it as I would a fairway.

You have confused me.
I have a moonshine truth and a ti buzzs that are both in my bag. The truth seems to have a little bit of turn to it while the buzz has even less, if any. The buzzz though will fade a little harder at end of flight for me so these are both useful discs.

For now, the Truth has the advantage. I thought the shallow grip of the Truth would be problematic, but it's not at all. The gumminess of Lucid plastic feels wonderfully buttery and pliable in the hand. Switching from Buzzz to Truth was honestly a seamless transition. One thing is for certain, I'd gladly take either disc over any Innova Mid. Rocs also suck.......opcorn:

They are very similar discs, and the Buzzz works great for me so there is little reason to for me to put a Truth in my bag.
Don't fix what ain't broke.

I agree. I carry both so I have a back up if one is lost. Z-buzz and fuzion truth.
