Smoothest player

Definitely, Paul mcbeth is definitely second, Schusterick seems to have really fast movements in his throw but its third smoothest ive seen

Agreed. Only reason I say McBeth would be second to Philo is McBeast's putting is really aggressive. Fluid, but aggressive

Steve Brinster gets my vote for smoothest back hand. he gets 400+ in D and it looks absolutely effortless.
Big Jerm Def. has the smoothest back hand around

Who is the smoothest junior player? Up and comer?
Junior: anthony barela, kid has amazing form
Up and comer: steven jacobs (im partial because hes my cousin)

I bought 2 11X Teebirds off Steven jacobs and have played rounds with his buddy Kenny Glassman when he comes out to CA, Solid people and definite contenders in the game.

Have only seen kenny on video, but i like stevens for because of his somewhat stunted reach back, consistent motion and relatively smooth release

I think a big part of showing how smooth a player can be is how much power they can get effortlessly. Two of the smoothest backhands belong to Will Schusterick and Paul McBeth. Although McBeth can get some ridiculous distance with what looks like no effort.

Below is a video of McBeth and Roan doing field work. Look at the difference in effort put forth by both guys throwing similar distance. McBeth is just so smooth, also nearly no run up.

I think that Feldberg's form is very smooth, especially on his short backhand rollers. I think it is between him and mcbeth for the smoothest, I say Feldberg because his form is very consistent and efficient

This is just my (apparently unpopular) opinion, but I think that while it looks very effortless, McBeth's form is not the smoothest. I would say either Williams, Brinster, or Will S. have the smoothest BH. And there is no doubt who has the smoothest forehand currently.

AWallen, thanks for sharing. I think Paul and Jared show a good difference while still both being smooth. At one point I think Jared talks about the run up and all that other stuff that happens before the hit and makes the point perfectly. That is all to get you in position to make the throw happen. There are a few throws where you can even see Paul really put the effort in but because the rest if so relaxed it looks smoother.

As for BH I think McBeast and Philo or both people I look at as smooth.

For FH I go with a lot of others and say Big J gets my vote.
