Fire Ants
Holes with water all around the basket.
Slim tunnel shots
Yourself
Rainy days
Poison Ivy
Lost Discs

Today it was a river that swallowed two of my discs and a pack of motorcycle riding morons who thought everyone in the damn park had to hear their choppers.

I went with myself and fire ants... I seem like a professional at putting my bag on fire ant mountain.

Fire ants are semi-regional. When I played in Georgia and Florida the fire ants were my worst Enemy, but at Ellison Park in Rochester it's poison ivy and dog poo. Here in the DC area ticks are tour worst enemy followed closely by thorns.

lately its been the canal at my home course..hadn't lost a disc in awhile but lost two off bad tree bounces and then one just went directly into the center of the canal today...

Today in Atlanta the rain kept me at bay. But beyond that it's snakes and poison Ivy

Fire Ants, Water, and Myself.

Fire Ants - never encountered em, but I think that can cover all insects. I guess it's all part of the "outdoors" experience, but I could do without.

Myself - yeah, I don't think there's a bad shot I don't have an excuse for.

Water - Getting to be less of a concern, but I still find myself avoiding the risky shots if I can.

I figured 'myself' would be in the lead. I selected rainy days, golf's just not that fun for me when I can't grip the discs properly. I almost chose myself but I've gotten over myself. :)

I'm getting better about my head, but sometimes it's just so easy to be negative. It really bothers me that when I have a 25-30' putt that the first thought in my head most of the time is "My putting stinks" instead of something like "I can make this or no problem."

I play with a lot of people that get really frustrated when they have a bad putt or a bad throw. Id say it definitely carries over; two bad shots in a row and something is getting thrown. I try to stay as calm and collected as possible and i can usually get back on track right away. Just remember its only one round..

Yourself, poison ivy, lost discs.

Yourself has a bad throw which leads to a lost disc and while looking for the disc you get poison ivy. (please excuse the poor grammar of the previous sentence)

I haven't lost a disc yet, but I have gotten poison ivy looking for them.
