the other day i almost hit a car while playing, and i was wondering, do discs do damage to cars? like break windows or dent them badly? people always park next to whole 17 and ive almost hit them a few times.

Threw a DX Destroyer down the 700' ski hill at Winter Park in Kewaunee. . . heard it hit a car at the bottom but Icouldnt see it . . . went down and after 20 minutes saw no damage on the cars and no disc to be found . . . I finished my round and went back and the guys parked there were leaving, I told them I may have hit one of the cars but didnt see any damage and I spent another 5 minutes and found it sitting on top of a patch of Ivy that had grown over some shrubs. It must have skipped off the hood or roof of the car and hopped up on the Ivy. I am glad there was no damage, and glad I found the disc again even though I lost it just a few weeks later in a pond at Blue Ribbon Pines

I putt in my garage and sometimes with my car in it. Usually I miss but once in a while I do get it since the narrow tunnel from where I putt to the basket is like 5 feet wide and 20 feet long. I put a good dent in my car though which really pissed me off but didn't ruin the paint job. I can only imagine what would happen to a car from the tee.... = (

We had a player hit a car at one our tournaments a few years ago. The car was probably doing 50mph down the main road while his disc was traveling the opposite direction. It did some major grill damage. The PDGA insruance covered it.

I nailed local PACE Bus directly on the Windshield. It did nothing to that bus.

On my final hole #18 Cliff Drive of Pro Worlds I drilled a guy on his motorcycle. The disc bounced in bounds while the guy nearly crashed into a parked car. It was unreal!

Actully, they park next to the "hole" not the "whole"

one of the guys in our league parks in a horrible spot. if there is an errant throw, his truck is getting hit. sure enough, i hit it one night. we were on 27, he was on 19 which was headed in the opposite direction. he laughed and then yelled "jake!!! learn how to ****ing throw!!!" it's not the first time it happened to him, and definitely not the last. left a little dent on the side panel, but not too bad.

I've nearly skipped and hit cars on hole 18 in North Asheboro park. People keep parking in the corner right next to the hole b/c it's shady but once they find their cars getting mysterious dings they might get a clue.

my truck got hit by the course owner out in western NC (course shall remain unnamed)...it was from the tee, my truck was parked off to the side of the tee, where the owner told me to park, and it was one of the funniest things i've seen because he had just gotten done saying "This is gonna be a ****ty shot if I hit your truck!" and what's he do? throw a ****ty shot!...it put a good size crease in my drivers side door...but didn't break the paint so hopefully no rust in a few years

I've hit a car from 300' out with a champ wraith. Dented the rear drivers side fender. He parked right off a fairway. Was going for a hyzer route and the wraith turned and just went straight as an arrow.

I've also hit a car that was driving right in the windshield.

Was told someone busted a windshield with a disc, forget who and where though.

One time, on a small nine whole course, I threw my star valk across the course right into an oncoming car. They were doing about 45mph, they just kept on going so I don't know if it did any damage. I just wonder what they thought about it, do they drive threw there often and know what to expect? Do they often just hit **** while driving down the road? Anyway the disc was just fine and I still throw it to this day.

I hit a parks & rec truck a few weeks ago with my Impact. (of all things) The disc was stalling out when it made contact, so there was no damage.

Funny you mention this, on Sunday afternoon I was playing a round with some buddies and one guy hit a van traveling in the opposite direction of the disc. The van kept going but it was pretty crazy.

I was on hole 3 out at the local course, Northlakes Park in Denton, Tx., which is parallel to a busy road.. Threw a RHFH with a Innova FL (i think), it caught the wind a hauled to the right.. Sure enough, the timing was spot on and it came down on the road and skipped up and hit the passenger back fender of some old dirty pos pickup. when it hit. a HUGE cloud of dust blew out the side. The lady driving turned around and had to talk some crap to me. She actually told me "That almost hit my son RIGHT IN THE EYE!"... i apologized and she went on her merry way.

Another time, on the same course.. We were on hole 6, which is on one side of the dam, with the lake being on the other. And some genius decided that he didn't want to park his car in the parking lot like everyone else, but instead parked it in the middle of the fairway, (i think he was fishing). So we all tee'd off, not really caring about the other guys misfortune. And sure enough my buddy nailed the driver side fender with a hard RHBH. Wasn't till we walked up to check the damage, that we noticed the car still had dealer tags on it. It put a good size dent and scuff on it. maybe next time he'll park in the lot.

Oh and i also hit a DHL van in Tyler, Tx., with the driver inside. she was cool with it.

I hit a car at Lunchtime in SW Portland. The course surrounds a church and the parking lot was full. I drove off hole 11 (which is randomly closed for this very reason) and I nailed a car with a bad drive. The best part is the lady who owned the car just happened to be walking towards it and started yelling at me, but luckily in a joking way. There was no damage and she was really nice about it. My buddy then drove next and nearly nailed the exact same car, at that point she said we must be trying to hit it. We just really sucked back then.

at the University of Utah course two holes are placed where throws have tendencies of going in that direction ... on 10 a sharp hyzer will take you into parking lot maybe even 5 rows deep if you skip on the pavement ... then on 13 you throw blind down hill n like 10 if you hyzer instead of staying straight you are headed straight for the parking lot and 30-40 cars in the area

was playing at knollwood in Kalamazoo in july i think and my girlfriends brother had a errant throw that hit the passenger side door of a cavalier and left a good size dent, but at that course any errant throw is bound to hit something like the errant putt i had that hit my friend in the nose and he started bleeding pretty good, and i felt really bad after i hit him.

I have hit countless cars lol. But, the course where I play the most has a sign posted "Disc golf course, park at your own risk". I assume that takes away the liability
