Add your own -- sanctioned or un-sanctioned.

I can't verify that all of those listed below have been continuous with no interruption -- other than the Des Moines Open, which I can confirm.

In 2014, from the PDGA schedule and personal knowledge:

40th annual Doug Newland Washington State Championships - Lakewood, WA

37th annual Waterloo Classic - Austin, TX
37th annual Grateful Disc - Fort Collins, CO
36th annual Des Moines Open - Des Moines, IA
36th annual Norman Pro/Am - Norman, OK
36th annual Wintertime Open - Pasadena, CA

34th annual Indiana State Championships - Valparaiso, IN
32nd annual PDGA World Championships - Various
31st annual Spring Fling It - Florence, AL
30th annual Mid-America Open - Columbia, Mo
30th annual Flatts Classic - St. Thomas, CANADA
30th annual Frontier Open - Hays, KS
30th annual Black Hawk Metro Open - Waterloo, IA

40th annual Doug Newland Washington State Championships - Lakewood, WA
40th Annual Rochester Flying Disc Open (I only know this one because I have 3 Cryztal Buzzzs with the '10 tourney stamp.)

37th annual Waterloo Classic - Austin, TX
37th annual Grateful Disc - Fort Collins, CO
36th annual Des Moines Open - Des Moines, IA
36th annual Norman Pro/Am - Norman, OK
36th annual Wintertime Open - Pasadena, CA

34th annual Indiana State Championships - Valparaiso, IN

30th annual Mid-America Open - Columbia, Mo
30th annual Flatts Classic - St. Thomas, CANADA
30th annual Frontier Open - Hays, KS
30th annual Black Hawk Metro Open - Waterloo, IA

CRAP, I'm too slow for Brad

Did some digging. The event was originally split into a Pro Weekend and an Am. weekend. It has since been combined into 1 Pro/Am tournament but is still called the Crosstown and has the same format so this years 2014 was the 31st

I believe the MN majestic has been around for a long, long time but no idea the history of it really. At one time it was surviving on bare rations pretty sure.

I think that Rochester tourney was in one of those "flashback" articles DG Magazine was doing last year or so. It was one of the (if not THE) first stand-alone DG tourneys, i.e. not part of a multi-event frisbee comp.

Plus think about it...these two 40th means the first ones were in '75. (!) That's old school. I was only 3.

An interesting side-question for this thread would be, we got any guys or gals who played in any of the inaugurals of these tourneys?

32nd Annual Kansas City Wide Open (KCWO)

It was called Wide Open because when it first started, any frisbee discs could be used, approved or non-approved. Not the case anymore of course.

27th according to a tourney announcement I found.

The MN events most likely to be in the running for top 10 are the Kenwood Klassic which I believe started in 1976 and possibly the Moir Mystery Madness but that may have started around 1980-81. I'm checking with the originators to see.

I played both the kenwood klassic and moir mystery madness this year. This was the 38th kenwood klassic and 34th moir mystery madness, next year is the big 35 for the MMM. Neither are pdga sanctioned events though.

The oldest events will all be unsanctioned since that didn't happen until at least 1983 or so.
