I'm at that stage where I seek out beefy champ terns but don't rally like throwing star destroyers. This looks perfect.

Why wouldn't an anny topped tern have that potential?

It most likely won't have the starting stability needed for a good cycle, that's what makes the destroyer so good it's really the only distance driver you need.

I still really want to try one I like champ terns I bet this thing will fly awesome.

Exactly, I carry 5 destroyers that cover every single distance shot I need other than dumb dumb overstable which is what I bag the PD2 for. Just watching the video of Eric and Eagle you can see that the DDx is more like a speed 12 FD. Sure you can bag one or 2 but for power guys ,like myself, this won't kick out destroyers so there is no need to carry it. I had high hopes because the s line discmania runs is so much better than current star plastic from innova. Granted a lot of guys will still love this thing.

Just watching the video of Eric and Eagle you can see that the DDx is more like a speed 12 FD. Sure you can bag one or 2 but for power guys ,like myself, this won't kick out destroyers so there is no need to carry it.

I know for me personally comparing relative stability based on Eagle throwing a disc is pretty dumb. Not trying to be argumentative, but a straight disc for eagle is probably pretty close to the perfect distance driver stability for most people.

The Tern maybe a huge hit on the consumer market, but other than Nikko and Climo occasionally throwing it, the top pros still veer towards the Destroyer.

I also think that this may eventually be a "pro's choice" for understable high speed distance driver.

Also Discmania does have the TD and TD2 as well as the CD and CD2 which are stable/understable consumer favorites discs.

Might as well get into the understable high speed driver game by releasing a Tern variant. If anything it might be very profitable.

I have not watched the video I was just speaking strictly to the mold pieces used, who knows sometimes two under stable molds make a stable one like a sentinel for instance. But I'm willing to bet even with a anny top the tern wing won't have the starting stability a good destroyer does.
