I have not bought a new disc in quite sometime. But this sounds fun. I will most likely try this out .

So a little slower and less glide than the suspect?

Suspects numbers
176.8 max weight
21.3 overall diameter
1.6 height
1.2 rim depth
1.2 rim thickness

Is this just a tweak of the Caltrop, or something entirely different that also just happens to have a Thumbtrac? I'm getting some Caltrops in this week to test out...

It doesn't appear to be a tweak of the Caltrop based on dimensions. The only commonality between the two seems to be the thumb track, though admittedly no one outside the factory (and PDGA tech folks) has actually seen the Slammer yet, so there could be more.

The Caltrop has the same deep-dish feel that the Gauntlet and Dagger have. I'm anticipating that the Slammer will be have the shallower feel and lower profile of the other Dynamic putters.

I'm not familiar with a caltrop. But anyone have a pic of the thumbtrack? I like a rhyno'esque thumbtrack. But do not like a banger gt type thumbtrack. Hopefully it'll be the rhyno type.

No pic, but I have two Caltrops. It is most definitely a thumb track of the Rhyno variety. Innova's patent on the Thumbtrac expired last year. Latitude and Dynamic are the first to venture into what was once exclusively Innova tech.

JC it is 2017... You should be able to snap a picture with about 27 seconds of effort?! :p

I always liked the banger style vs rhyno but neither seem to do anything magical. Hell i like the rings on blowfly too but no one does that.

Not if I don't have the discs handy.

There are pics of the Caltrop online. I bet a google search (or just going to Latitude's web site) would yield the pictures desired in less than those 27 seconds of effort. :p

Good. And, good.

I like variety/gimmicky/fun/useful disc innovation. I also liked the rings on the blowfly and sandpaper on the spike etc. It's fun

Those weird spots on spike always were temping.. To use or not to use? The disc flys great too when driving with some weird rough spots on thd top lol. People are way too picky over the feel of discs. Have fun! I need to try an opto bite. Been loving the lightning upshot lately.

This will probably be the first new mold I've purchased in well over a year. Should be good

I'm very excited for this disc. I was a long time Pig thrower but got fed up with the lack of plastic options. I've been throwing suspects which are not quite the same. And I never liked the feel of a Harp in my hand. The Slammer sure looks like the trilogy Pig,
