You know you're addicted to DG when...

When you are superstitious/ have rituals. I have a my lucky Phillies cap.

I always have to wear my cool hat when I play:

When you rack up your hand or fingers and you take comfort in the fact that it's your left hand and not your right (throwing) hand.

also, when you are driving to the disc golf course and any song you hear on the way you substitute the lyrics with things like "hitting the chains", or "throwing plastic", "my drive is long" or, well, you get the idea.

When you're 100 miles from home and your only clothes are the wet swim trunks you're wearing and you have no socks and you're already exhausted, sunburned, and rubbed raw between the legs from a day of summer fun at the lake and your brother says we have one hour until dark lets play a round and you say not yes but hell yes.

I am heading out to see fireworks this evening, and since we will be standing near the car, I am bringing my basket and discs with me so I can work on my putting before the show starts.:D

When you can stop visualizing disc golf holes in the woods as you drive by them.

I went to the practice field at 10:30pm, and practiced till 1:15am. Cops slowed down a couple of times and looked at me, but they didn't say anything. The field is quite lit by the parking lot next door, and I had a blast. Learned a few new tricks.

whenever i get a new disc, i go out to the nearest open field and just throw it until i know its line and how to throw it properly

I don't think I would ever contemplate throwing discs at that time of night, but I am an early to rise kind of guy.

I work Monday night through Friday night, so I have to stay up every Sunday night to put myself back on my nighttime schedule. I usually go practice about 8pm on Sunday nights, but is been so dang hot, I wanted till in dropped below 90 before I went out there.

I think the reason they didn't stop and talk to me, is I am kind of a local celebrity around town when it comes to throwing discs in that field. I am usually out there a couple of times a week in the afternoon, and the field is right on one of the busiest roads in town, and people all over town recognize me.
