[Drivers] Sneaky long

These are all sneaky long:

Latitude 64 Flow (watch out, this will go further than any other driver if you put a big move on it)

Latitude 64 Saint (one of the glideyest fairways that strectches to distance driver range)

Leopard3 (throw it hard with hyzer and it will just keep pushing forward)

Westside Warship (get fairway distance with a mid range feel in the hand, plus all the control of mid but can get out there faaaaar)

FD keeps being mentioned for a reason.

I'd add the Insanity, River, and Envy to that list. Envy in particular seems kinda long for a putter. It's about as long as my Roc3's.

Envy definitely encroaches on midrange territory. And you can just absolutely mash on them and they ride straight and finish. I have a 3 year old 160-something Neutron that flips up from a slight hyzer on a full power rip and just goes laser straight.

When i think 'sneaky long' i think the river. The glide makes up for the 'need for speed'.

Atom - Very long for a putter, they range the same as Rocs for me. They also have a rippable rim unlike the Ion.

Stingray - These only get play as rollers or turnover mids but a fresh one pumps out to about as long as a leopard for me. I am always surprised when the glide gets it out an extra ten yards further than expected.

Whoa, they let you out of your cage. Congratulations.

The Unlace was "sneaky long" for me, haven't thrown it in a long time, too unpredictable.

Shoot even I will admit that this one is AWFULLY similar to that "narrow rim, but big distance" thread that was front page material last week...

My answers are the same - FD and Escape. Also, Zones seem sneaky long lately as I can't help but overshoot the green all the time.

Ah, I second the Escape. I haven't thrown anything trilogy in a while but the Escape was the first disc I threw past the 300' mark....

I disagree. One of the appeals of the zone is that you can't throw them over about 300 feet. If you're overshooting the green it must be a fairly short shot.

Sidewinder gets my vote for easiest to throw driver that goes further than you expect.

I expect my FD to go a mile, but it's definitely a leader in the easy distance group.

Mayhem

Axiom MAYHEM - It always seems to be like 20-40 ft longer than I expect it

Strange. My Mayhem is the opposite. Simply a clunky disc. 20 ft SHORT of where I want it every time. I'm starting to get fed up with it. Flies like a good Katana, but none of the penetration.

Anybody else think its funny people keep saying 12-13 speed drivers are "sneaky" long?...
Why can't a 12-13 speed disc be sneaky long?

Maybe I misunderstood the question but I named the M Scorpius because while it's supposed to be an overstable driver (I know the pro plastic is more understable) it goes further for me than any understable driver designed for max distance. i.e. Tern, Shryke, Crank.

It has the HSS to resist completely flipping but still has a nice gentle forward fade that puts the disc much further than it looks like it should go.

Any disc that keeps a dude like me at a competitive distance with all but the big bombers I play against is sneaky long in my book.

Start new thread>select thread title>Sneaky Short Discs>profit.

Front page for daaaaays

Discraft Heat can fly a long way with little effort. Also the Lat 64 Saint can really get out there!
