I70 has got to be good too. Utah to Denver to KC to Columbia to St Louis to Indy to Columbus to Pittsburgh.

Notable courses within 40 miles: Base Camp, Baileys, Phantom Falls, Bucksnort, Beaver Ranch, Water Works, Clover Cliff, Harmony Bends, Foundation Park, Deer Lakes, Moraine.

298 in 34 states and 2 countries(one course in Switzerland woohoo). I'll pick up Hawaii in June and really hope to get KS and MO too. No matter what, I'm finally going to hit 300!! Haven't been in a huge hurry or else I would be hitting all of the crappy 9 holes around here. Guess I'm not a true course bagger.

That's what I was going to suggest. But it's more driving and not as many boring courses in between.

Maybe the Charlotte to I-40 corridor with a detour to I-30 for the Charlotte goodies, Harmon Hills, more Tennessee goodies, Selah, and then Harry Myers. You could hit some other decent courses along the way and go farther west to hit Fountain Hills if you really wanted.

Looks like my house is being attacked by a giant army of orange baskets.
I need to get up to Oregon and Washington sometime to get that other corner.
And Missouri has somehow been missed by me up to this point (I am coming for you Harmony...)

I had to have my son tell me how to do it lol. Push the windows button and the print screen button on your keyboard at the same time to take a "screenshot" of whatever is on your screen.

Feel free to reach out when you head through MT. Happy to offer any advice/beta I can.

Thanks, thrembo! And yes, Brent, I will!

Leaves me to wonder if those few little bare spots bother Matt---like an almost-finished paint job.

With a question about Florida, too.

3 Major areas stand out to me that I want to hit in the not too distant future. SoCal and Florida both fit in well with my winter travel plan. Then there's ME/VT/NH (which look like they're all covered by baskets, but I only have one course in each state played, one mild winter allowed me to drive through in a day and knock them out). Of course I could fill some spots along the way.

One noteworthy change in my life that may allow for me to add more courses in new areas in the up coming disc golf seasons is the growth of Treasures of the Forest, specifically as a disc golf vendor in the production of high end disc golf minis.

Re: Martin Dewg:
What I find particularly impressive/humbling/crazy: lop off a whopping 1000 courses from his played list, and he'd still have more than most of us.
*mind blown*
...and I'm sure he's made it out to more than a few unlisted courses not on his map.

Here's another map this thread wouldn't be complete without. Hope he doesn't mind me posting it. My guess is he'd do it himself, but he's too busy bagging courses and writing reviews.

what a terrible problem to have

Yeah I was trying to do the same thing in WI but it's pretty much impossible with all the new courses popping up everywhere.

Some of these guys are just animals though. My map is just a blob over WI basically. You really have to zoom in to see anything.

as well as Saipan (Northern Mariana Islands).
weird quirk: if you're searching here on DGCR, you have to put US as the country and NMI as the state to get the course listings. they won't come up if you put NMI as the country.

with 50 states + 11 provinces + NMI makes 62 the possible total

but there could be more if there were courses in DC, NW Territories, Newfoundland/Labrador, or any of the US territories that get listed like states: American Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands. that would be 10 more for a potential possible total of 72 "states".
