Probably took me 3-4 years to find my putt
I had settled into a comfortable stroke after about 6 months of play. I was an "ok" putter, especially given the lack of practice I would put in. However, a few years later I've totally switched things up. Went from a stagger stance to a straddle. My percentages aren't too much different on regular putts, but my misses aren't as bad, and it's easier for me to keep the disc on a line. And I've also found that obstructed putts are easier now too because my "normal" stance is a straddle.
If I'd actually try to practice more, I feel like I have the ability now to putt as good as I ever have.
Really appreciate that response. I'm almost a year in, practice all the time, and still don't have a putting stroke I'm super confident in
Assuming you've found it...how long did it take you to find your stock putting stroke. Say you have a wide open look at the basket from 15 feet away...how long did it take you to dial in that stroke? Just curious...
