First Diamond Trusted Reviewer!

I am just about to hit 800 thumbs up. This is an absolute slog, though I have found a lot more motivation to write reviews than in the past 2 years.

Dude, when are you coming to New Orleans? Surely the Houck course opening in a month or two will lure you here?

An impressed Congratulations going out to Mark Blazer (wellsbranch250) for reaching the 1000 thumbs up milestone with the fewest thumbs down ever! :p :hfive:

Now folks, if you haven't read one of his reviews, he needs 200 "unique"s, so do yourself a favor and take a look at the definition of a "helpful review"!

...ps: at the risk of "nicing" you, I've got your spot reserved on the Diamond Trusted Reviewer list

That is impressive. Must be nice to be able to hit so many new courses that often. I see he's in my neck of the woods currently. Maybe I'll see him around.

It has been nice to have the opportunity to play so many new courses in the last 2 years. However, the run will be coming to an end very soon as my break of dawn bagger runs are approaching the 2 hour mark. I'm probably going to switch it up and take a full day or 2 day trip every other month and try and hit top destination courses within a 6 hour drive. I have a 4 1/2 day road trip to Austin TX in a couple weeks. Targets include, Roy G, Flat Creek, and East Metro. In route I'm considering Selah and Harry Myers. As for future road trips, I'm thinking, Hobbs, Panther Creek, Harmon, Idlewild and the Charlotte area.

I will be in LA for the Magnolia Open in a couple weeks! I have a buddy who lives across the lake in Covington who is designing a course at Solomon Retreat Center. I really should start coming out more.

Just a PSA:

If you are reading reviews, and you like the review or even don't like the review, leave a vote. It helps the reviewer feel like he's doing a good job, at least in my experience.

Not a great boat to be on, but welcome a board anyways. This boat is heading to Austin in a few hours. Stops at Memphis, Selah, Dallas, and Waco are planned, weather permitting.

I think that I'm in the same boat as you. Waiting on those 200 unique reviewers.

But big congrats for 1000+'s!

I've got both you guys on the "Just Waiting" section of the TR Stats page, hoping enough folks on here will go and check out your fine efforts at helping dgcr members!

I haven't had much of an itch to review courses since hitting Diamond. I need a road trip.

Also, congrats to all of you with the 1000 ups...no easy feat.

Congrats, I enjoyed the Brent review. I don't understand the one thumb down, must be either an accident or someone not pleased with the score.

More shocking is that we don't have one played course in common. I'm sure ill hit a Northeast TN course by the end of the year to end that.

Wrote my 50th review yesterday! Pretty exciting, as on facebook I got a notification that I played my 25th course a year ago yesterday, and now I'm at double that, hoping to reach 100 by this time next year!
