you could redye them as well . just a pick a largely yellow area and that will be the area of your stencil that is covered the rest uncovered and dye dark .

I am also cutting a stencil for another star dart and I plan on leaving it in the black dye for 2 - 3 hrs and really drive that black into the plastic. This will hopefully slow down the fading process as well as the freezer tech

Logically, I think this would create a blurred look over time.(bleed into the surrounding plastic.) I'm referring to what I've seen heavy sharpie that bleed through.

Nicely done Flamble, not a halo fan, but very nice dye.

Just finished this up for my GF, it lives in her bag, but I'll be throwing it a lot...

This thing is awesome! But I'm surprised that you didn't hold off in revealing it until October.

Moon -- very nice work on dyeing the underside rim, and I LOVE the design, well excecuted!

Neuron -- WOW. That is all. WOW. Color, clean, unique, AWESOME!

Thanks Bennett and MOON. I should have thought to hold it until october, but just too far away, I'll just have to come up with something better for halloween.

yowsa theres a lot of sick work being posted!

hey moon whats your secret to eliminating bleeds on the parting line with your 3d dye?

burntneuron, I am jealous. You have been at this a lot shorter of a time then I have been and you have surpassed my skill with that pumpkin. Amazing. You are climbing the ranks my friend.

sry guys it has been so long since I have been in the dye room, but coaching basketball is quite the time commitment. Here is something I just finished for a customer and the light saber is the sole reason I decided to learn how to dye with an airbrush.
