[Discraft] most overstable buzzz plastic?

I guess I missed the '07 Players Cup discs. I'd never heard of them before.

Ninja'd...google got me there first! :p

The Wasp is basically an overstable Buzzz, but it doesn't glide as well. You can't have your cake and eat it too...

Having thrown a couple different plastic ESP, z, Cryz z, I think z is the most stable.

I have a z that is kind of candy and a tie dye one and the stiffer firm z is far more over stable

Check the tops, there's flat top Buzzz's and semi domed... Flat tops hold a straighter line, domed ones are more Roc ish. The flatter tops seem to get produced most often with the Glow which is my vote for best Buzzz... I've had several Z buzzz's and have been less satisfied with the domey ones.. the old bar stamp Z Buzzz were excellent too but any of them will be somewhat broken in by now. I don't find my 176 FlX as stable as my 177 ESP but I also haven't verified the weight on a scale.

Dropping a 3 or 4 grams down with a Z Wasp might do what you need... I dabble with one for S shots.

I own those. I've owned a buzzz in what I think is every plastic they've made them in...unless the new SS mold is in glow plastic, then I don't have one of those.

They have made glow SS's in the past year...Very pretty, great plastic, but they don't fly very well.

Anyway, my most overstable Buzzz is a light green opaque production Z with a slight dome. My second most overstable is a new opaque purple Z that is flat. Since stability is determined by how the plastic shrinks as it cools, the best way to get an overstable Buzzz is to compare parting lines and go with the highest one. The amount of dome does not necessarily dictate stability in the Buzzz.

I have a really flat as a pancake pink Z plastic BuZzz that is pretty rad.

I have...26ish other BuZzz...actually more like 28ish...

I'm bringing this I'd thread back now that I'm in the same boat.

I need an overstable mid and I would love for it to be a Buzzz. The shark 3 or drone has been in that slot but I'm not crazy about either.

Any new or different opinions on how I can at least match the shark?

Have you tried a Hornet?

Not yet but I keep hearing about a lack of glide and flipping at full power that keeps me away.

I'm also trying to minimalize molds but it may not be possible.
