I fondled the prototype at Worlds and was confused as to why it wasn't given away at the Fly Mart (it was advertised as a prize).

I'm also wondering who won the tester team spot from the Fly Mart... I suppose I'd have heard by now if it was me.
How did it feel to you? Was it a huge rim, or a comfy high speed driver?

Not sure if these have been mentioned on here or not, but I just got the email for them. Looks like a really cool idea. Black side is Firm and red is Medium.

Ahh, the long awaited next attempt at Fusion. While this particular rendition does not do a whole lot to peek my interest, I am excited they are still trying stuff like this. I am waiting for the bullseye putter with soft on the outside and medium in the middle, maybe a touch of firm as the bullseye.

I just got in my Vibrams from DGC and I discovered that I ordered an Ibex (not an Obex) in 158M, and an Ascent in 158M. I have a 178M Ibex that feels noticeably heavier and spins much slower when I'm just casually tossing them into the air and catching them. This is my first time to get discs in the 150 class range, so I'm pretty excited as to how I'll throw them. I usually get discs in a range of weights when I get a new mold, at least with midranges, fairway drivers and distance drivers, but usually stay in 160g and up.

One curious thing, too, is that on my Ibexes, their ratings for turn and fade are reversed. I don't have them in front of me, but I believe the heavier 178g has the rating listed on Vibram (5/7) but the 158 is reversed (7/5). Has anyone else noticed this, or do the ratings change dependent upon the weight? AFAIK, the 158g Ascent is the same as listed.

On another note, I wear Five Fingers, so I always call them "Vee-brums," with this being an Italian company and all, so it makes me wince a little to hear Vibram pronounced as "VAi-bram" in the disc golf videos. I used to pronounce it this way until I found out that Vibram was an Italian company. Is it okay to pronounce it this way since I'm in the US?

Want to win a spot on the Vibram Tester Team? You've got to do two things:

1. Buy a 12VO Fundraiser Disc and/or 12VO Vest. (at the VO site or any store that carries them.)
2. Pick the winners of the Vibram Open.

Check out and buy the 12VO stuff: http://www.vibramopen.com/
Enter the contest: http://www.vibramopen.com/win.html

Its that easy. If you buy both, you get two entries.

Note: Sorry I've been absent for way too long. And I'll probably not be on next week with the Vibram Open going on. I've read through most of this and seriously thank everyone for answering most of the questions. It is awesome to read this stuff. We'll keep thinking outside the box.

Just wanted to drop in and say how much I love the Vibram discs. I only have 2 so far, the Trak and the Ridge, but they've already significantly improved my game. Can't wait to get all the other disc Vibram makes.

You just keep doing the awesome job that you are doing with everything Vibram. Get back to this thread when you get a chance but not at the expense of other things you are up to.
