600' goal is done! 170 pro destroyer

The video given is a uphill shot.......I have played that exact hole.

I love how you make excuses about how you can throw farther than these guys when it is highly unlikely.....at least right now.

I would advise working on your golf game and cleaning up the 1st half of your throw.........since you are OATing in order to get distance which really isn't a good thing to make a habit.

well i guess there is no sence in going back and forth with you anymore...if you cant figure out that the camera is at the perspective of the throwers and you can see the top of the hill.......i dont see a giant mirror in the sky. i will let you think about it for a while.

And I will let you figure that you are wrong! I was out there the same day and personally can say it is a pretty decent elevation change.........

Or I could say you are right and that the people who have played that course are crazy to claim it is uphill.

They are throwing up a friggin Ski Hill.......even if it is a bunny run. Anyway quit making excuses for why you throw farther when you probably don't and all those guys would school you on a course anyway.

^^This guy probably only throws about 475 and has definitely never played Toboggan.

Keep up! He throws 600, I've seen it, Jrawk has seen it, Gottafixit has seen it, I think VeganRay has seen it too. . and no he has never played that course

When Kachtz proves he can break 600 legitimately, will you, Scoot, apologize? Or are you beyond rationalization.

Edit: btw, Ray hasn't seen him throw long distance.

He still talks like he is the shizznit......when he is really a NooB

Apologize for what? Did I ever say he couldn't throw 600?

All I did was rebut his assumptions that those guys don't throw hard........

So let's sum this up.

Kachtz can throw really far, possibly near 600 feet. He has some credibility on this based on those here who vouch for him.

Scooter knows what he is talking about, has played the courses and knows these guys. That gives him credibility as well.

So why not agree on what you can agree on and admit what can be admitted? Wouldn't anyone with half a brain admit that in less than 1 year of playing their might actually be a few guys who can out throw you? Does it make any sense to argue with a guy about a course you have never played on but he has in order to say you can out throw people who are far more talented and skilled than you are? I believe Scooter is right on much of these things AND I think Kachtz is throwing really, really far. It would just give him a ton more credibility if he could actually admit he might be wrong on something and not put himself out there in a seemingly arrogant way as better than veteran players who are extremely skilled at throwing for distance.

I never said I throw farther than him............I also don't doubt he hit 600ft.

The only negative thing I said about his throwing was that his form needed some refinement.

maybe i'm reading this wrong

Edit: But you're right scoot, fair enough.

I may be wrong, but I do not think Katchz ever said he can beat any of you in an actual game, just a distance driving competition. He has never competed in a distance driving competition. He knows I can kick his butt in a heavily wooded course and I am not that good :).

Scoot_er he can throw 600, but no one said it was straight or accurate, but from his start point to the landing area is 600 feet. If he was throwing at a pin 580 away He can throw it 600, but he may be 150 feet to the left or right of the pin.

I know he never said that...just thought I would let it be known....

I still doubt he can outdrive Bratten.

How many times must I say that I never disputed that....although I did say I didn't know how he could get so much D with his current (or past)
technique.

Yeah he throws far, but unlikely to be further than some of the current biggest arms inthe sport, like a robbie bratten or an Avery Jenkins. Just a little humility now that we all recognize he's a big gun.

Something like that

meh, I couldn't even tell you how far I could throw if I went balls to the wall for distance and no accuracy. In my opinion it's a wasted throw and wasted time. I know I can hit 425-450' golf distance, usable on a course. That, to me, is a distance throw.

Example: Not many have ever played it, but if you have, I'm talking about Chautauqua Park in Fairfield Iowa. Small 9 holer.
I get bored, and make up new holes, it's a good 9 holer that's close to home and what I use to practice many different shots. None are long, so a lot of 250-300' shots and good work on approaches and putts. Therefore, I make safari holes.

I get to hole 9, then walk to the right of the pin to the road. The road goes straight back through the park, past hole 1's pad and then pin, then to the highway. I throw down that road and then down hole one's fairway to the pin for one of my safari holes. Based on google earth it's roughly 500' or slightly over. Tree cover, and a relatively tight line at that distance. I've been within birdie range twice, roughly 450' shot with a nuke. THAT, to me, is a distance shot. No more than about 20' high off the ground at apex, hyzer flip. 50' putt.

edit: Side note, another of my favorite safari holes is the pad being the shelter house by pin number 7, to pin number 8.
