:confused:Believe it or not it is cold in Florida and I need some good insulated thin gloves for dg... Any suggestions?? Need to know where to buy them at too...

Buy some mittens...any mittens. Take your throwing hand out only when you throw. Mittens are clutch because they keep your fingers together so they retain warmth. Do this and you'll be fine.

Hand warmers inside the mittens! Key! Throwing with gloves on doesnt work everytime.

my hands get so hot. I tried hand warmers when I first started playing and they dried my hands out and affected my grip. Now I use some light weight thinsulate gloves. Two pairs, two on the left and two on the right. I often putt with them on and even drive with them.

I just wear a glove on my off hand and keep my throwing hand in my pocket; to keep it warm.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

what Apothecary said

you live in Florida!!!!!
how freaking cold can it be?

I mean seriously like what 10 degrees above freezing?

we play in 20 degrees below freezing

anyway in such "cold" weather you may be able to get away with Cutters

the NFL/CFL receivers gloves

they are thin
you could probably wear them to play in

and in the weather you have there they will be tacky such that you have a great grip on the disc while keeping your poor little fingys warm :)

up here where you know like it actually really is cold the Cutters don't work so well cause it is so damn cold the grip side of the glove loses it's stickiness

anyway good luck with that winter golf

Judging by the haters in this thread, you may need these gloves:

I got myself one of those hand warmers like the quaterbacks in the NFL wear. Got it at Cabela's. I hated messing with gloves. Off and On.. Off and On... I put one "Hot Hands" pouch in there and I'm good for the whole day. Mine even has a zipper pocket on the front for small stuff like smokes and a lighter...

Just get warm gloves that you can take off when you're about to throw.

^This.

I prefer what I like to call "bum gloves" (i.e., gloves with the fingertips cut off and a mitten-type flap that can cover your fingers fully or be buttoned back for added dexterity). I usually place a hand warmer in the mitten part, so when it put it over my fingertips, it's nice and toasty.

Regardless of the glove type, though, I highly recommend taking them off to throw (at least on your throwing hand).

Edit: I 2nd (or 3rd or whatever) that you man up, dude. It's frickin' Flordia! :p
