I've had the 2nd Ed. since they came out. Bags gets dirty but cleans up to look new. No holes, rips or malfunction on my bag. Its solid. A mahal owner I know just ordered a grip
I purchased my Grip bag around July of last summer. It's been nothing but awesome. Absolutely no problems with it at all. Only thing wrong with mine is its a little dirty and I can't seem to find a good pocket to keep my loose change (it just goes everywhere haha). Sometimes its hard to get the bag to stand up on a hill, but thats not a major issue unless the bag rolls down the hill.

FWIW, I use the zippered pocket above the GRIP logo for my keys, loose change and other misc. stuff.Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed when I got mine. No zippered internal pockets to keep loose change and other small stuff. I'd write but that doesn't mean MY bag is going to get an upgrade
The hillsides are my numero Uno concern, with any bag. But the rails on the Grip hopefully give it some help...
Wow. If I may ask, why the switch? Everything I've read is the Mahal is like the Holy Grail of bags...

The mahal rode great if I used the chest strap, but otherwise I would have to tighten the shoulder straps every time to get it to ride comfortably. The straps are designed for backpacking, not constantly removing the bag.
I rarely used the pockets fully expanded on the Mahal because I didn't like how discs sat in the side pockets. I can fit a couple more discs in the Grip than just the main part of the Mahal.
I put my keys and wallet in the pocket in front of the disc compartment. When its pushed back to allow access to the discs, its easy to grab and put things into that pocket.
Well less than a week and Ive got a snag.
Already emailed them about it.
The system to raise the putters in my quiver is broken. The piece that holds the snap has come undone. Not the side with the ribbon, but the other snap...
I wouldnt do that they will fall out I lost some patches in the pocket:/
I can't see how theyd possible fall out. If I held it upside down maybe and relea
sed the velcro and shook it.
