Which one would you rather have: power or putting?

Putting...my hubby takes one put to my approach and putt. He can putt as far as I need to approach.

Putting for sure. My mid range came is rock solid so I can make up for a less then stelar drive, but if you don't have the putting skills to back it up, then none of it matters.

Forehand Freak in da house! Guys, this dude has some of the best natural talent I've ever seen. Treat him well, he's a good kid.

Both are important but I'd take putting. Ive never had a good round where I wasnt putting well. I've had lots of rounds where I've drove well but didnt score all that well.

Drive for show, putt for dough. So I would rather have better putting. Although driving is actually the most inconsistent part of my game.

The Disc Golf Genie grants you one wish:

Pro-level boom boom power.

or

Pro-level putting.

Which would you rather have?

This should have been a poll. And right about now, I'm so rusty and out of shape, I'd take either...

Driving, anyone can learn putting. Kinda like basketball, anyone can hit a jumpshot, but few can get up and dunk like Jordan.

this is the best responce i have read!!!

anyone can become a good putter with practice, but the ability to throw hard may never come.

and the saying " drive for show and put for dough" does not really take effect for this sport, the highest paid player in this game by tournament winnings probably makes the same as a walmart employee, in a year.

throwing discs a long ways is so much more fun for me to watch than putting.
i want to be able to throw 700' by August 2011.

Since most baskets are 400' or less away, I'd rather be an awesome putter. I can already get it pretty close, I want it IN!

I wish I worked at walmart so I can rake in $40k+/yr.

Manage a McDonalds.

I definitely would rather have solid/consistant putting. Personally, I think my game could benefit much more from machine-like putting than extra distance. But what do I know, I only throw 300ft or so. :|

haha your right

for 2009, the top 2 tournament combined winnings.

#1 Nikko $36000
#2 Avery $33000

my wife was an assistant manager at McDonalds in 2005 and made 37500 a year.

I'd love to get the putting down. I can never seem to get them both going at the same time. I'll be parking my drives, then missing easy putts, or throwing my drives crazy, then making some insane upshots/putts .. either way my score seems to stay the same ... :(

Working at mcdonalds vs traveling and playing disc golf...HRMMM ;)

Yep. And if I didnt need to work on my driving so much, I'd probably practice putting a lot more.
